Brought my Forester in because of an engine light and interior cabin leak. They charged me two diagnostic fees ($160 x 2). Had to come back again because the cabin kept leaking. The first and second times they said the sunroof and front windshield drains were clogged and Marc assured me it was fixed. The third(!) time they kept it for 3 days then said it was windshield seal. Provided no updates unless I asked for them. They wanted $495 plus tax for a windshield replacement when Safelite down the street is charging $386 including tax. When I came to pick up the car (they told me it was done) they tried to give it back with no passenger seat. Asked for a refund of my diagnostic and they said they couldn't do it because that transaction had closed. Asked for a future oil changes and they said they would do a complimentary 6k service which is an oil change and tire rotation.

Sold me a used car with an accident reported, after claiming the Carfax was clean. Did not do much to rectify the situation being that the ball was on their court at this point. False claims with minimal resolution. Not a good situation.

Friday afternoon on a sunny day. Had a flat tire around 2:30P and got to Subaru service a little bit before 4:30PM (when the techs leave). They still took me in for a tire change. Super grateful for their customer service and hardworking team!

Update 2: I went in for an engine light problem. Marc & Andrew went above and beyond. Everything is fixed in 1 day. I really appreciate all of their help. They were very attentive and courteous. Update 1: I spoke to Andrew, he was kind enough to listen and address my issue. I have another appointment on Thursday for another issue and hopefully I will get an answer. I'm not giving anyone a difficult time or asking for magic here. I just want to know what's wrong with my vehicle and how to resolve the issue. Although Andrew wasn't so pleased about the review, I am just sharing my honest experience and stated I did not address it with them first. I did in 2022 (twice) and just not gotten any answers. Hopefully now that the manager is involved I will get an answer regardless whether it's the battery or something else that cause stalling. I really want to build a great relationship with them because they were great to work when I first walked in 2019.I lease my vehicle from them. This is my 3rd Subaru. There are several things wrong with my Subaru. My auto start stop and AVH also stalls my vehicle at times. 2 times on the highway, and 3 times on local streets. I brought it in and they say it's my dash cam taking too much power. PS: family have 3 of the same brand and model of dash cash not causing any problems.

Our Subaru needed extensive body work after an accident and we brought it to Bay Ridge Subaru, who subcontracted the work to a body shop around the corner. They wound up holding onto the car for 3 weeks because it took time for Subaru to process the claim and for Sea Breeze to get all the parts. It wasn't an unreasonable wait but while the car wasn't being worked on it was in either Sea Breeze's or Subaru's secure lots. When we got the car back our glove compartment had been rifled through and a number of items were missing including RayBan sunglasses, prescription eyeglasses, a flashlight and the paperwork for the car. Plus a backpack we left in the back of the car with an old Atari system and game cartridges was gone. Either their lots are not that secure or one of their employees is light fingered. We called both Sea Breeze or Subaru and neither was especially alarmed by this and neither made any real effort to look into it or make amends. They did very good work. But if we ever go back to them we will take everything of absolutely any value out of the car before we do so.

Bad experience as usual. These technicians are specialized in Subaru still takes already 2 days for p0400 egr a flow then still want more days and I was OK enough ask them to do wheel alignment only on phone. After get to dealer takes me hr then I wait at dealer for another 3hrs Atleast just for alignment service. Then she charged me 150 for incomplete diagnosis p0400 egr. plus 130 for alignment but they said n written on paper that wheel still veer on turning coz I've uneven tires. You guys shouldn't align if tires are bad in first place. What I called inexperienced or negligence. Next day I bought tires and alignment again at pep boys. Almost wipe 300 asss for nothing just wasting 2 days and 4 hrs. If guys have time and money for spared I recommend this dealer. You just wait wt more horrofic story. If u don't believe look more reviews on yelp. Beware

I bought my new Forester from BR Subaru in the middle of the pandemic and have been taking it back every six months for their complimentary oil changes and NYS inspection. Reserving a spot via the Subaru app has been very easy. The service itself has been great. Everyone--from the folks who receive your car to the cashier--has been friendly and efficient. Waiting area is spacious, clean and has great wi-fi. They also replace warranty items without having to request it!

Leasing a new car from Bay Ridge Subaru was a pleasure. Anthony Grippo is a really competent, knowledgeable, efficient, and experienced salesperson. He went above and beyond to explain everything about my new (Fifth in the row) car.Mark Wildman made all transactions quick, easy, and as smooth as they could be.I like a lot my new (Fifth) Crosstrek and strongly recommend going to Bay Ridge Subaru if you need courteous and professional service. And by the way, it was no stress at all.Free coffee was a plus as well.Alex TarasulaCrosstrek Limited 2022

Too many details to go into but the bullet points:- took over a month to repair my car after an accident.- took another month to repair the new problem they caused.- no offer of a loaner car until I asked for it.- they got a speeding ticket while testing the car. claimed they paid it and didnt, then refused to pay the full cost of the ticket after a judgement from the city already went out against me.Seems like some good intentioned people work here but clearly the place is a mess and doesnt value customers time. No reason for me to ever go here again.
