I've been here twice, and will keep returning. These guys are so helpful, each time telling me exactly what's been biting and how to fish for them. They won't try and sell you the whole store either, really honest in advising you what NOT to buy!As a beginner from out of town, the service this place provides is second to none. Most other places won't offer you spots, techniques, and info. If you're looking to catch a fish, do yourself a favor and stop in here first.The prices are also fantastic, and there's a lot of variety to choose from. I'd go out if my way to come back to this tackle shop.

As an inexperienced fisher Bernie’s Bait & Tackle is a breath of fresh air. Mike is super knowledgeable and able to help us find everything we needed quickly and at a fair price point. We will be back!

Went to Bernie's with my son to get him set up with a tackle box and some gear for fishing. Mike and Ryan were extremely helpful and so very patient while answering all of our questions. They explained what he would need for freshwater vs. salt water fishing as well as what to use for specific types of fish. They showed us how to tie and attach the lures and weights. Mike fixed one of my son's rods and even gave us some ties to hold our rods together, free of charge. They were so professional and knowledgeable. We left knowing much more about fishing and the equipment that is needed. We will certainly be returning to Bernie's for all our fishing gear. They have a large variety of rods, gear, tackle boxes and bait. The store is very organized and clean and the staff was exceptional. It was overall a wonderful experience. Bernie's is the place to go for all your fishing needs. Thank you!!

I was recommended this spot from a friend and I have to say i stopped going to another bait/tackle store. My experience here as a new fisher has been fantastic. Although i havent gotten much items, every time i have, I left knowing a little bit more about the fish im looking to catch. Friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff members make me feel welcome and they never try and sell you something you dont need (even if you want to spend the money) Highly recommend for all new and experienced anglers.

I absolutely love this shop, my first experience years ago was just as amazing as my most recent which moved me to write this review. Well knowledgeable about Fishing and Products. Frank was so patient and helpful, although I know they are often times busier and having a quick one on one lesson on Fishing and Rod assembly was the luck of the draw, I am appreciative and excited to take on my Fishing journey. Thanks Frank. I'll definitely be back each and everytime.

BEST SHOP EVER! All of my questions were answered and then some, Mike and the rest of the staff are so generous with their time and knowledge. Also as a woman I was treated like everyone else in the store which is rare in my experience! Can’t wait to come back !!
