This review is for Lucia Lash - I’ve been getting brow lamination done here for 6 months now and it comes out perfect everytime. Book with Sayaka! She is super sweet and does an excellent job. There’s also a small Japanese market and cafe upstairs and all kinds of goodies on display by local artists in BK.

This place is a fantastic, constantly growing, perpetually interesting spot in the neighborhood. The street level floor is a cafe, little grocery store, and a high end salon with their own proprietary products. The downstairs is an absolute wonderland!!! and is filled with interesting Japanese goods - vintage, local artisan crafts, and modern. It's definitely a low key hidden gem for fashion + style. When you walk in, it's very quiet and pretty dark (deliberate aesthetic) and the staff almost seem hostile? They don't really greet you. And they wear normal clothes so it's hard to tell who is working there and who is browsing sometimes. But if you interact with them, they are warm and polite. I think they just aren't trying to create the most social vibe. Maybe just trying to seem cool.

Amazing gem of a find! This place literally has everything from Japanese grocery, to art, clothing and coffee. After coming back from Japan recently I was excited to see that all the items were from the areas of japan we visited. Highly recommend a visit to this spot for everything Japanese! On a side note, I think that “Japanooklyn Lab” sounds cool :)

To my shock I walked to this beautiful Japanese market fully stocked with all things Japanese. I live in Japan though I spend a lot of time in Park Slope when I’m in the states. I had no idea this was literally a block away. There are no signs indicating the wealth of products within. Everyone in Park Slope should know about this gem. A game-changer! すごい

My husband get’s his hair cut by Keiji at Hazuki Hair which is housed in this gem of a space. Honestly, it’s always such a good time and truly feels like an adventure when I go here with my husband. We obviously love hazuki hair and I absolutely LOVE the market right next to the salon. I spend my whole time there and always leave with an interesting treat to try. & one thing I truly appreciate is just how GENUINELY NICE the staff here are. I was hanging out with my daughter and the staff gave her an origami set to try/play with.Once again, an ABSOLUTE GEM!

Possibly the best hidden gem in the neighborhood. this place has everything though we mostly go for the joyous supply of Japanese candy, soda, snacks and packaged foods, along with the excellent bento boxes made fresh in the cubby kitchen at the door. Worth a visit even just to browse, but it's impossible to leave without picking something up.

A very cool space with Japanese food, groceries, art gallery, clothing, beauty products, and salon. I recommend stopping by while in the neighborhood. I'll have to go back sometime to try the salon.

Honestly had no idea this shop existed until my friend brought me here. It's basically a tiny Japanese shop, with snacks, food, coffee/tea, as well as beauty supplies. Got some snacks and drinks for the road. Super nice folks!
