I initially appreciated the prompt email responses, hence the 1 star. However, my experience deteriorated significantly thereafter. After exchanging a few emails with the sales rep, Miriam Berman, I decided to call her in trying to expedite the process.I was specifically searching for interior doors tailored to my needs. Unfortunately, Miriam didn't inquire about my budget but instead assumed I couldn't afford the doors I desired after I asked about available options and their prices. Her response was dismissive, stating that the doors I wanted were 'top of the top' and unattainable for less, adding a remark suggesting sourcing them from China as the only alternative. This comment was not only inappropriate but also racist.Consequently, I ceased further communication and will neither use their services nor recommend them to any clients. As someone in the trade business, this lack of professionalism cost them a significant customer."

Women that answers the phone when you first call is as polite and nice can be. Mary from sales rep not so much she will just hang up on you and then when you call back she’s away from her desk. Always good when the sales rep can’t be bothered

Customer Service is terrible. No communication and I believe they are dishonest every time you call and try to get in touch with a sales guy. Always promising to call you back and never do. Always keep you on hold for a long time. Always abruptly cut off to txf without any common courtesy comment. It’s the little things that make a difference with customer service.

I called to order two doors. They left me on hold for a while and then came back and said everyone was busy and I would get a call back. No call was ever received.

Zero stars. Went to order skylights but this store doesn't come to you and take measurements. Instead a dude gave me some business card of another dude, told me to call him and he will come take measurements. Called. He said he'll hive me estimate in 2-3 days (he didn't even know the size nor the type of skylights I want) and never heard of him again.Big store and it looks like they're only appreciate business from big contractors and don't care about small individual home owners. Therfore folks just don't waste your time and go elsewhere.

The person I was asked to speak to regarding the items I needed was on the phone, having a protracted personal conversation. It was quite audible, so personal it was, which is the point. I was announced to him by the receptionist, hung around by the entrance to his office, to make myself visible, then asked the receptionist to remind him I was there waiting to BUY something. The guy never even gave an appearance to care. After about 15 minutes of this, I left in disgust. I will never set my foot in this place again, nor spend a penny there. That's no way to treat a customer who is there to spend money.

The receptionist was very nice when we entered, the lady who came out after to help us was dreadful and miserable. She was an older lady, came out of her office for 2 mins and decided what we were looking for - she didn't sell, instead of telling us another other options. She answered two questions and went right back into her office. After doing some research online, I realized Anderson does carry a version of the window we want - all for the best, after that reaction I do not want to give them my money.

Referred by Frank to the window installer the recommend. The window measurements were done by their installer who gave them to the salesman who eventually got back to us with two suitable stock windows "that would work". Knowing next to nothing about windows, we depended entirely on 'expert' advise. Three Anderson windows were delivered. The installer returned for the installation but said; "the wrong windows were ordered," but "I have my crew and we can make these work". Buyer beware. He never once suggested to return the windows, he was mostly concerned that he had a crew. It was a total hack job inside and out, fitting poorly with 6" between the sill and the glass pane (should be 1"). The windows sold to us were made for new construction (not replacement) and far too small. Brooklyn Window and Door took no responsibility, we were told by the salesman "you selected" those windows, nor was it he who measured the windows in the first place (but it was the window installer they recommended).Since then our contractor reinstalled the windows by removing the sashes, molding, building up the bottom and lowering the top. We've needed brick work, concrete, stucco, wood, sheet rock and paint work inside and out for these "replacement windows". Avoid Brooklyn Window and Door. MP - Brooklyn
