Warning for dog parents: My pup and I had a terrible experience at her last grooming appointment.Her vet trims her nails regularly with no problems. I also had taken her to Bushwick Bark once before and it seemed to go fine. This time though I could hear that she was in distress within minutes of the groomer bringing her into the back room. I waited to see if she would calm down but it got worse so I went back to see if I could calm her down. That was when I saw there was ANOTHER DOG back there in the grooming room, which is tiny and cramped. Seemed like the groomer’s pet. I was not informed or asked if it was ok there was another dog there. My dog is friendly but gets excited and sometimes stressed around unfamiliar dogs, particularly if she is on leash or otherwise restrained. I would NEVER have consented to letting her be put in restraints and handled by an unfamiliar person WITH ANOTHER DOG in that tiny room, and I am shocked that a “pet friendly” business like Bushwick Bark would think it was ok to do that.I will not be bringing her back. For some pet owners this may be the easiest or only grooming option, so I would just advise you to ask if there are another animals in the back room or insist on accompanying your pet during the visit.

Usually love to go here, but today I wasn't even acknowledged with a "Hello" from the sales associate. She also completely ignored my dog, who went up to her with the memory of nicer interactions (including treats) in mind. If you charge premium prices and want people to shop in person, I'd recommend making the experience pleasurable. Based on today's interaction, I'm considering ordering online rather than supporting this business.

Excellent service!! I used their self-serve grooming station, extremely convenient. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable about food options. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back

The self service dog wash closes at 7pm. I been coming here since October and have washed my dog around this time. If I knew that they close the dog wash at 7 PM I would’ve stopped by there earlier to avoid this. this is only disappointing because I took my dog out to get nice and dirty today because I knew I could wash him at 7pm. To avoid this in the future with new customers I highly advise that management makes it known to their customers either online or on the front door. Also, the hours posted on google is wrong

Although I purchased a few different items, I found everything I needed and more at Bushwick Bark. I must say, I was absolutely impressed by the cashier's/associates warm, friendly and attentive nature. She definitely helped me along the way, amongst others. Plus she even had so much patience to help me with my time there. She was great and recommended great items that I was looking for. I ended up buying a spray for my two felines that were scratching up my furniture, a catnip toy and 2 treats for my German sheperds. They were so eager to eat their treat, they smelled the treats as soon as I walked into the house. Bushwick Bark had a bit of everything needed for pets and they were even foster 2 of the cutest kittens ever. Definitely would recommend their services.

I just left the store and the vibes all around were very terrible, we did not get a greeting when we entered but others who came in behind us that did not have any melanin in their body receive greetings we went near the pet cage and the young lady who works in the store came over and made sure the cage was closed as if to say don’t touch it. I would not come to the store ever again and I would not tell anyone to come to the store ever again bad vibes all around if I could give it zero stars I would. PERIODT!

This place is a GEM! So glad I found via Yelp. The staff is friendly, sincere, and helpful. Daniel, the groomer, is a godsend. Our dog is petrified of getting his nails clipped and kept squirming and trying to escape. Daniel was so patient and calm and used a nail grinder to get the job done on all 4 legs! Even our vet and several dog groomers have not succeeded in trimming for than 1-2 nails. THANK YOU BUSHWICK BARK!

i looooove bushwick bark. idk what it is but my partner and i just love going to a pet store and bushwick bark is great. the staff is usually so nice and they have a great selection of things.at this location they foster little kittens and we love going in to say hello, our hearts break every time :( but they are the cutestthey have a groomers that i haven’t tried so can’t speak on that but they also have a shower which you can pay to use for $14 which includes products to use to give your pup a bath!! it’s super convenient in case you don’t have a tub at home or are coming home from a messy park adventure ?really recommend ?

They got my 155 lbs malamute in for a last minute grooming appointment and did not disappoint. This is easily the best quality grooming I've seen in Brooklyn so far with a very reasonable price.
