Canarsie Pier is a popular spot in Brooklyn for fishing, picnicking, and outdoor recreation. It is a tranquil and picturesque place to clear your head, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The pier offers plenty of room for fishing, drone and kite flying, and has a kayak launch. Amenities include a small playground for young children, clean restrooms, and a picnic area with spaces for barbecuing. There is tons of room for parking, though the parking spots could use repainting. It is a dog-friendly area. While quieter in the off-season, it is a great place for a date night or to bring the family during the summer months. Visitors are reminded to get a fishing license, follow the rules for catches and fires, and watch their children and pets.
Nice pier/park ,great view of water, has a small beach for swimming , plus a playground for kids and an area for barbecueing. Good size parking lot although on weekends and in the later hours I see it gets rowdy with some of the cars in the lot.

A large and spaces area to have a family gathering, a picnic or a special event in the open, you can also peacefully view the waterfront, fly kites and release balloons etc., in memory of someone: whatever you desire here.
