This bank actually lost a deposit and denied it! and of course, their customer service is worthless! Hours on hold with no resolution.

After reading all the previous reviews I was worried however, I was pleasantly surprised how efficient and helpful their staff is. From the moment I walked in someone was there to greet and redirect me to the right person. This branch is renovated and may be under new management!

Can't get anywhere with these people, had several issues over last couple years, and excuses or apologies are moot. ATM ate my card along with a personal check while saying returning check. Then computer froze. There is nobody to assist on phone and you're really screwed when nobody is working in branch. No ATM numbers to call. Now nobody knows where my personal check is and won't for days. And of course won't pay for fee to stop check. This is after they froze all 4 of my accounts for 6 weeks to check my eidl wasn't fraudulent, a loan I was scheduled to pay back. Not a ppp. Absolutely inept. Go elsewhere.

I had a very bad experience with Capital One when I tried to open a business account. I went in on a Friday and no one was available to help me. They told me to come back on Monday. I called on Monday and they told me to come in the morning without an appointment. I walked for half an hour to get there and when I arrived, I was told that someone had scheduled an appointment for 9:30 AM and I would have to wait until 10:30 AM to be seen. I was very frustrated and disappointed with the lack of customer service. I ended up going to another bank and opening an account there.

I come 3 times to open an account always they have a excuse they are short on workers. And the manager is not helpful she always walking around or standing .nobody was able to help you worse bank in WilliamsburgI think they have to change all the staff starting from the manager

I wanted to open a business account and I chose this specific branch because its close to where I live, however it has been such a dissapointing experience. I made an apointment for 9am on a Monday and their system was down and they send me home to make another appointment, when I came back it took them 2 hrs to open a simple business account not to mentioned they made a mistake and to fix it they needed another day and I will have to go back. This has never happened to me ever! I was trying to be as patient as can be but to be honest that is no way to treat a client and they were not to apologetic about it, the agent was just simply saying yes to every complain I had.Hopefully this review helps to make this branch way better for the people that live close by.

While this location is nice and clean, there is always an issue with the "system being down." It took me THREE attempts of going in, in person, to create a business account because they kept telling me I had to come back because something or another was broken, or down, or there was a human error that was made and needed time to be fixed. I used to love Capital One as a general banking company but this location needs some serious upgrades in technology and employee training. There are certain employees who struggling with basic computer skills which also resulted in many delays and issues with opening the account. None of the employees seemed to care that there had been major issues in what should be a very simple process. They just kept saying I'd have to come back... again. This branch honestly made me question using CapitalOne as a company in general. @CapitalOne - please do better at the few brick and mortar branches you have.

I am surprised the bank often gets poor ratings - I have been their client for a decade and have always received excellent customer service. This branch is clean, modern and staffed with friendly people.Compared to other banks Capital One does an excellent job keeping their technology up to date: the site is easy to use, mobile app is great, I love using virtual credit cards. There have been technical malfunctions with the ATMs but the staff always remedied the problem to my satisfaction.This morning I had another positive experience with their staff at this location - seeing that tellers are busy the branch manager pulled me out of the line and help me with the issue. He was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Keep it up Capital One!

Every time I visit this location there’s an issue with the atms. They’re always out of service. Unfortunately this is the closest branch to me since they closed the one in Greenpoint. Luckily if I need to deposit cash I may do so at a CVS near me and not waste my time going out of my way to do so here. Also once the atm ate my card and I nervously had to wait until the morning to ask staff to retrieve it. They were friendly which I why I at least gave 3 stars.

Terrible. Rude. Extremely dismissive. I get the need to push for online banking plus I much rather do that anyway. But this was my first time I actually needed to sit with someone and before I can finish a sentence, I was told "thru the app" every single time. Will not be returning / it's sad considering I've been a client for years and if they would've just showed a little more compassion, I wouldn't be looking to change banks ultimately.
