Carroll Park is one of the oldest parks in Brooklyn, offering a variety of activities and spaces for visitors. It features three main sections: an asphalt yard with basketball rims and a baseball/kickball diamond for older kids, a play area with equipment for both older and younger children, and a shady area with public bathrooms for seating and comfort. The park is well-kept, clean, and nicely sectioned off for different age groups. It provides large open spaces, two playgrounds for toddlers and little kids, and benches for resting in the sun or shade. On Sundays, a farmers market adds to its lively atmosphere. The park is dog-friendly, with many dogs often seen there. Visitors appreciate its pleasant setting, accessibility, and community events held throughout the year. While overall positive, some note occasional issues with restroom cleanliness and mention diverse local visitors, reflecting changes over the years. Carroll Park remains a popular, busy spot for families, friends, and dog lovers alike.
Nice place! They removed a swing which was sad but I've been coming here since I was 1 lol Very good for morning strolls

I love how it transitions from dogs to kids on weekend mornings here.

Very nice public park in Carroll Gardens. It has basketball courts and playgrounds. It's very clean. The atmosphere is nice and it feels safe. It's a relaxing place to sit in and take in the sights. Update 10/4/25 This park is a very nice neighborhood park. I attended the Carroll Park fair.
