I'm so tired of this financial institution. My card expired in March or 2020 and I've yet to receive a new card nor have I received any electronic communication regarding it. When I called Carver's customer service department the woman on the phone did NOT sound pleasant at all or empathetic. She said their records show a card being sent out but I never received one. When I asked when it was sent out, she couldn't even tell me. She said my old card will have to be canceled in order to send the new one. When I asked if the new one could be expedited since I need access to my money during this very scary and stressful PANDEMIC, she said no. I hate this bank. Earlier last year I had issues using my card at businesses using Square card machines. That issue has NOT BEEN RESOLVED over a year later. So anytime I go to a business using Square machines, I have to leave and find an ATM and incur ATM FEES because this crappy bank is outdated. The Black community deserves better.

All dough it's nice branch the branch manager "Roland bowling "the bank manager needs to improve her communication customer skills she really not helpful ,if I have a issue on my bank transaction don't tell me I need to call the second party to deal the issue . You're my bank you need to deal with the situation out my account not the second party ( the next time I have a transaction issue I will not be stoping at the Flatbush branch I'll go to a different branch ) otherwise every thing in this branch is great !!!!

I have always had a great experience banking with carver bank,i appreciate that i was immediately treated with respect and dignity.I would strongly recommend this bank to any small business owner are entrepreneur they offer many different options to best suit your financial needs.The banker that help me set up my account was Gayle and she is always very professional and polite,i will continue to bank with Carver bank.

Started going to this branch after the Jamaica ave location closed. Great service.My only gripe is the wait time for a new card has to change … far too much time.

I opened an account at this branch in April and had an excellent experience. Onica, their new branch manager, took me through the process and has been super helpful and very easy to get in touch with throughout all the follow-up, as have the rest of her staff. Carver's history as a Black-owned bank and their commitment to community are important to me. But of course I also want a bank with good customer service! I'm excited that I found a place where I can have both.
