I have used this place for shipping around 20-30 times. There is an employee named Brie that is very on top of things: astute, multi tasking, friendly, and efficient. I intend to try to come only on the days Brie is there--she goes above and beyond and earns her tips (even though it's probably over the top to pay $6 in tips for 5 minutes' work). I sadly can't say the same of any other employee I've encountered at Sandbox. One time an employee even lost her temper and started cursing at the woman in front of me. Brie is 5 stars. The other employees are 1.

The young man behind the counter was very rude and gave no effort at all to be helpful. I came in needing to ship 1 tiny bubble mailer to California and he told me the cheapest option was $20. This isn't my first time shipping small packages within the U.S so I know it shouldn't be that expensive. He offered no explanation and also kept muttering things under his breath

I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 7 years and have always gone to the sandbox. Today I went to mail a package! I printed the postage at home and waited for the store to open which opened later than 9 am I will add. The woman opening the store already had an attitude. It was bizarre, a woman And her child were ahead of me and she was polite but as soon as she got to me she was rude (the woman and I were not the same ethnicity-ill let you guess). Apparently my printout wasn't scanning. And she said I'll reprint it for you thinking she was doing this as a courtesy. after she does that she says it's a 3.50. I only had a dollar on me bc that's what it cost to mail usps package there. And I explained I didn't have it on me bc I wasn't expecting to be charged that. She rudely gave the package back and said go some where else. i said you should have explained the cost before you did the service. Then when I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me which resorted to me taking a photo. I would love to connect with the owner as I know this is a small business and I support small business but I don't support poor customer service. This person is not treating customers with respect. i wanted to email but she unfortunately has access to the email address that I sent something to-which judging by her unhinged behavior I don't feel great about either. Her behavior was really inappropriate and I think the owner deserves to know.

Clinton Hill Sandbox is incredibly convenient and we’ve been using their services for a couple of years now. Recently we unknowingly dropped off a package with an incomplete label. Bri went above and beyond to find a way to contact us and let us know that DHL was unable to collect it due to missing information. We were able to correct the label and get that package shipped out thanks to her and her excellent customer service. Thank you Bri! Sandbox will continue being our go to for all our shipping needs

Paid for my box to be taped up. Two weeks later box arrives at my home, clearly not taped up and had a sticker saying it had been delivered with no items in it. Went to discuss with store, was told I was accusing them of stealing the product(?) when I was just saying I wanted money back for shipping bc the person paid to tape box did not do their job..

I ship CDs for my business. They never quote me the same price, and occasionally try to charge me $20 to ship a single CD? What? Then they swear up and down that this is the cheapest available price. I then walk to the post office and ship it for $4. There is no consistency from the staff or depth of knowledge about how shipping things works.

Not an official UPS store. I think they’re consistently rude here. Three times I’ve had to leave and go somewhere else because they don’t have stuff.The UPS place is at 315 Flatbush and they’re very helpful there. I’m usually all for small business but this place needs to go.

I discovered this place when I needed Saturday drop-off service on some FedEx packages & didn't feel like schlepping downtown or to the mysterious FedEx drop-off location on Atlantic Avenue supposedly closer to me.Get there early if you don't want to wait. Otherwise, it's fab! Support Black-owned businesses already! Woot!
