I had such a great time at Cozy Royale yesterday! I had been wanting to visit this spot for a minute and I was finally in the neighborhood so decided to slide by. Service was excellent, and the cheeseburger definitely lived up to the hype! I have to come back and try the famous martinis, they look sooo good! My one recommendation is to make a reservation especially if you’re coming on the weekend! ?

Servers were lovely. Unfortunately, food was horrendous. Shrimp was slimy and undercooked, steak was blue. Dinner for multiple people was inedible.

Cozy is a good name for this place. It has great comfort food and awesome service. My veggie omelette was especially tasty and well constructed. Other dishes around my table at the Sunday brunch was equally great, Chicken and Waffles, Roasted Potatoes with shredded Ribeye, were some of the other delectables. You will enjoy this place anytime of day as menus are swapped around with different choices depending on the time of day.Vegetarian options: Veggie Omelette was fantastic.

My wife and I always love coming here. Great staff, the food is spectacular. If you’re lucky enough to snag one of the dry aged burgers, do it. It’s a biblical burger experience.

I love this place & I live next door. The only thing I don't like is they never let you take anything out to go. Tonight I tried to order a soup and salad to go for my sick girlfriend. No dice...kinda

I’ve been here twice with a group of four and a group of two and enjoyed my experience both times; however, I have to say I didn’t think the dry aged burger was worth the hype. The bacon jam lends itself too sweet for what I like in a burger. The regular burger is both classic and special. The clams with chorizo butter were outstanding and extremely flavorful, and the gem wedge, shrimp cocktail and anchovies were all wonderful additions to the meal as well. The steak frites was good, but we make a mean steak at home, so I’m particular. My advice - get the burger and a lot of starters. Their martinis was excellent as well, and great service. I have to talk about the decor as well. It has like a 60s/70s hunting lodge nostalgia feel but also elevated and modern. Really beautiful color scheme and tasteful atmosphere overall.

Great neighborhood place! This is thee only place I eat red meat from since I can trust the a Meat Hook quality and sourcing. We usually come for the weekday happy hour specials ($10 smash burger with fries or salad), but today we came for brunch and it was packed! Recommend making a reservation if you can.

One of my all time favorite restaurants! The steak is amazing, however, they changed the menu for new year and took out one of the best dishes (chicken piccata). Please bring it

Rude service. I asked for more information about the soup special, the waiter responded, “what do you want me to say? It’s a soup!” Then I ordered a burger and fries. I waited 45 minutes and when I asked for any ETA of my order the same waiter said “it’s not my job to tell you when the food is going to come.” I just left.

I want so badly for this to be my favorite Williamsburg restaurant. The vibes are 10/10, the music is great, the staff is nice, the drinks are good and the people I love all love the burger. I just wish they just would make a few more nods to vegetarians or people who don’t eat red meat but want to dine with people who do!! A veggie burger? The ability to add a protein like salmon or fried chicken to the hippie salad? This would make Cozy Royale a slam dunk!!

Stopped in after work last night. The French onion soup is an absolute treasure. Balthazar doesn't even compare. Martinis were on point. We split the chicken and damn it was juicy , delightful, and the sausage was a perfect addition. The cabin vibes were cozy and inviting. Huge shout out to staff for being welcoming and knowledgeable. Cheers yall thanks for the great experience.

Best happy hour in the area! The vodka martinis ($10) are delicious, as was the burger with fries ($10). The ambiance and decor is really stylish and comfortable, even the bar stools. The bartender was great and I enjoyed the cool postcard that came with the check. Will definitely be back!
