Only go if you are DESPERATE for food or need one small item. Meat quality is very poor. They mark things as 'manager sale' in aisles but charge you full price at the register. If you show them a picture of the sale they deny. Everything is marked up way higher than any other grocery stores, Whole Foods and Wegmans have cheaper necessity items, produce and poultry. Go anywhere else for your moneys worth.

This longtime location has recently undergone extensive renovations and a huge expansion. The produce department can be found to the left of the entrance. It is so lush and green it looks like the garden of Eden!
The deli was my destination today. It was hot AH and I wanted a sub. They have a number of pre-made sandwiches, wraps and snack-packs i.e. half sandwiches with chips and a sweet. Thankfully they make subs to order. The person at the counter asked me to choose my bread from the aisle behind me. I was confused as that's something I've never had to do before, but I like the idea. I got an Italian assorted with extra meat and mayo. It was DELISH!

Seems to have just been converted from a food universe to a CTown. They took over the furniture store next-door and now there is a gigantic produce section occupying the new part of the space. There’s still signs of the work they’ve been doing, as of labor day 2024, but one can shop in the new space. Otherwise no obvious signs of change.

Generally speaking food universe is a good franchise chain owned n operated by the same people who own n run KEY FOOD.

I like the place. Only they keep changing items, one week your item is there next week it's gone. It's a waiting game.
