It's like you're on a hidden camera show they're so rude. I asked the woman who happened to be the manager when the pharmacy would reopen (the gate was down, it was mid afternoon and MY GOD. She wouldn't look at me or respond- I assumed she didn't hear me so I asked again where she took a 10 a second pause and mumbled (still wouldnt look at me). When I said "I'm sorry?" She gave me a death stare and said they reopen at 2. I swear to you, I was polite and kind- I work in a customer facing job, I always empathize but these people are MISERABLE. Hopefully Duane Reade on Bedford takes my RX insurance bc I'd prefer to never step in this vortex of dread and anger.

From the second you walk into this store you are greeted with a friendly smile, the staff is wonderful and always eager to help. The pharmacy department is amazing! One gets the sense that this is a small local neighborhood shop rather than a chain store.

Went in this location for a passport photo. Quick and simple. Customer service here for some reason was the best I've seen in this city for years. CVS needs more employees from this store to be everywhere. Good job guys and I thank you!

Consistently long lines for the pharmacy and forget about calling, long hold times, they need chat people to communicate not waiting on hold. AI can't come soon enough for the pharmacies. Not a fan of employees wearing their favorite social justice pin - it's unprofessional and a business is not the place for this.

Stopped by here for a few last minute items while traveling. This store was really difficult to shop in because everything is behind security locks. I couldnt get a few items that I needed because I needed a store associate to unlock them but there were no associates around. I saw one while checking out but by then it was too late.

Terrible new management (Jan 2023) that refused to follow-through on services promised by previous management and staff. Beware of pre-ordering anything you might need for important events here, they have shown us that they will bail on you, and leave you high and dry.

**edited** I added two more stars because the last two times I came, it was a much better experience. The staff seemed more organized. Can’t say the hold phone times got better and the one pharmacist that made me cry is still there but over all, it’s better.**end of edit**I tried to call several times today to ask a question that would be a waste of time in person. I was put on hold 3 times. This review is mainly based on that experience. I was on hold 20, 30 and 40 mins. The first two times someone picked up and gave me good advice for my question. Hence the star. However the 3rd time I called and no one answered, I had to drive down. I witnessed a bike and car crash on the way. Anyway once here, it became fairly obvious that they seem understaffed and their is like 1-2 people that might be in the know to actually help you. The others are basically in training or clerks as hired hands that don’t know very much.The exchange I had with the pharmacist left me so upset I broke down crying in aisle 5.I finally figured out how to pay online which was no help from the pharmacist who told me to call a 1-800 number? I was like I’ve spent all day on the phone with CVS…. (BTW the App was the only way I could link a CC, and the website didn’t allow for Delivery and kept crashing)You can understand perhaps why I’m upset.When I went to the register finally with my bar code, the gun wouldn’t read my barcode. Even after they got my name right, it took 3-4 people looking for the order that had been filled not only 30 mins before.I think this place needs some more help and better communication between it’s depts and seemingly “convenient” app features.Oh and hey happy Valentines Day.

If I could give zero stars I would. I live across the street from this CVS so I frequent regularly today I went in for a dish sponge, face masks, and blistex VERY SIMPLE. The first person I saw available to approach was Candice (I believe her name was) the female manager. I asked where the face masks were and she looked at me, and ignored my question. I asked another time and she looked at me as if I was annoying her and told me they were behind the register. I went to the register and young woman was there who was helping another customer, after helping the customer she walked away despite me asking to see the face masks. I had to wait and flag down another associate who's first day it was and he was not knowledgeable on the mask options. I purchased the masks and sponge and left, because of the poor customer service I decided to turn around and refund my items. Again I saw Candice and asked to make a return, she looked at me and walked right past me. Finally the same associate who's first day it was did my return. Unacceptable behavior and I'll be taking my business down to the nearby Duane reade. GET SOME PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK
