If I could do zero stars I would. The pharmacy guy that answered the phone, refused to give put of pocket price for a prescription medication. He also hung up on me while I was providing the information. Look at other reviews. Do not go here. They are rude, condescending and not knowledgeable. I work in healthcare so I know how prescription medication works and this person did not want to be bothered. I understand they are busy, but if you want someone to use your pharmacy you need to be willing to provide the customer with accurate and up to date information.

Wish I can give this place zero stars! Every single time I come here the line is through the roof basically touching the entrance/exit. They close down like 2-3 times mid day so VERY inconvenient for patrons in need of medication. Would not recommend yhis pharmacy whatsoever I'm only forced to come here since it's the closest to me but to be honest I rather walk to rite aid!

Consistently the most incompetent pharmacy in all of North Brooklyn. They are rude, avoidant, unavailable, slow, confused, and the most unhelpful and confused group of individuals. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I have been sent text messages that "your medication is ready for pick up at this CVS!" only to go there and be told that it is not ready, and that it can't be refilled. Whatever the reason is for this broken system they operate at (and it appears to be ONLY this CVS location), they need to overhaul everything in this location to stop making the lives of customers who need medication frustrating and awful.

Sadly, I think this is just how convenience stores look now. Somewhat barren and everything locked up. I mainly come here when I need to grab something in a rush. The prices aren't amazing, every now and then they have good sales, but I come here very much because I need a certain product now, as opposed to any other reason. I also got my flu vaccine here. I personally prefer CVS because of the online portal and documentation they have for vaccines. It's easy to generate a document for any proof you need. There's a lot of random boxes laying around, which just gives a weird vibe to the place. I understand locking things up because of rampant retail theft, as annoying as it is. Also, they seem to rely a ton of the self check out. I rarely see a person checking someone out.

Isaiah & Harun at the pharmacy are stellar employees! I'm a super CVS fan, so I try to connect with at least one employee at each location I frequent. This just so happens to be where I fill my prescriptions, out of convenience. The team is overall amazing!! When items are out of stock, I understand it's a supply chain issue. Totally at no fault of any one on staff. As a CarePass member, I'll always find alternate items! See you all soon #TeamCVS

Unfortunately this CVS allows their customers to only receive medication if it aligns with their political beliefs. I was prescribed gender affirming Testosterone from Planned Parenthood and with each visit to retrieve my prescription, the pharmacist would give an excuse as to why my prescription was wrong. That I would need the doctor to rewrite the prescription on multiple occasions, giving contradictory instructions with each attempt to pick up. As well as giving very different instructions than those I received from my doctor. The pharmacist was not following confidentiality guidelines shouting my name, information and instructions across the pharmacy to where everyone around us could hear, he said I was using "dirty testosterone" if I take the medicine the way my doctor showed me. I was embarrassed and enraged by how he made me feel. I am switching pharmacies and I hope other people will take their prescriptions elsewhere.

I live up the road in LIC and even next to another CVS location. I am writing to show gratitude and commend the employees at the Greenpoint location on Manhattan Ave. Unlike others, these folks are helpful, positive, and accommodating, every time. In this bizarro world in which we now live, this is rare and welcome change. Must be something in the Greenpoint water... Kudos and keep up the good work!

It's not their fault stuff is locked away and needs attendants for assistance. I'm not used to asking for help when buying toothpaste but this is the times we live in. Great place with nice folks. Be nice and get nice service but that's almost everywhere. They sell peanut butter and jelly but no sliced bread. I got a kick out of that one. Also I wish they sold powder Gatorade mix. Condoms are on the pricey side here but I hear child support is way worse. ;) It's a review for a pharmacy. What more do you want? Lol

My doctor's office and I spent two weeks trying to get a prescription for a generic medication filled. When you call, you have to go through a myriad of steps to finally talk to someone, except no one ever picks up the phone and you have to settle with leaving a voicemail. They never respond to the voicemails. I had to finally go in in-person and was told that the medication was still being "processed" and would be available the next day, but three days later it still wasn't ready. I had it sent to a Walgreens instead and it was ready within 24 hours. Their pharmacy is clueless, uncommunicative, doesn't answer the phone, and leaves you hanging for weeks without knowing what's going on with your prescriptions.

The manager or owner of this CVS should be fired. It's really gross and never any stock! The staff are pretty good, so is the pharmacy but the space itself is terrible! @cvs

This CVS is a hot ass mess. I'm aware they were robbed several weeks ago, but the shelves are still bare (unless they got robbed again). There's hardly any merchandise and the merchandise they do have is disheveled. The store is filthy with garbage all over the floor. The pharmacy line had at least 8 people waiting and one person attending to them. The employees working are either talking amongst themselves or having private conversations on their cell phones. The self check out kiosks don't work half the time and there's never an employee actually ringing anyone up. This CVS could be great if corporate stepped in and cleaned up whatever chaos is going on in here, but I guess they don't seem to care. This CVS should shut down if no one is interested in managing it correctly. What a stark contrast to the CVS on North 6th St & Kent, which is clean, well stocked and you have employees who care at least a little bit about their job.

Terrible customer service. Called two days ahead of my scheduled prescription delivery to cancel it as I was moving to a new address. They then sent it anyway, which made it super difficult to be refilled/reissued. Called to have it delivered to a new pharmacy and confirmed it was sent. Rearranged my day to go to that pharmacy to find the prescription was never sent. Called over the span of 20-30 minutes passed their opening hours to solve the problem but nobody would answer the phone. Called again this morning after being away traveling for over a week. Was told to called back in 10 min. Called back and was put on hold, the hung up on. Called back and was then yelled at and interrupted by Nero telling me this whole scenario was my fault....he would not listen and was incredibly rude. Been 2 weeks and I still don't have my prescription. I did everything needed to make sure this didn't happen.

Terrible pharmacy do not use, I was overcharged for my prescription. At my regular pharmacy I pay 12$ for my prescription, at this CVS it's 70$! No explanation. This is not my first bad experience at this pharmacy either, they have given me the wrong prescription as well. I learned my lesson today, I will never use this pharmacy again.

I understand that due to the pandemic, many stores are understocked. But all the other pharmacies in the neighborhood are stocked with basics, except this one. I get my prescriptions filled here, because they are usually pretty efficient filling them. When I need to get other basics pharmacy items, I often go to Rite Aid or Walgreens, because unlike CVS, they manage to keep basic items on the shelves. The staff who work here are usually helpful, but they are so understaffed that there isn't anyone to ask if you have a question. Also, I noticed the pharmacist often does not have a mask up. I understand it is difficult to keep these masks on all day, but the pharmacist handling the medications? That makes no sense since everyone else in the store must wear one.
