They move very slowly and needs more people, instead of one person at checkout for both pharmacy and main checkout.

Been coming here for years, for all my household, cold remedies, holiday decor as well as personal items. They have improved as the S/O would walk and follow everyone but the thief or robber. Lines go fast and the customer service is always friendly striking a small conversation that will lighten a day of a loner.I recommend this CVS

Takes the institutionalized unpleasantness of CVS and dials it up a few notches with trash on the ground, stained carpets, missing ceiling tiles, fluorescent lighting that sounds like an outboard motor, and more. Bonus points for consistent stock outs.

Indecency and disrespect have become so prevalent that it has made it's way into the workplace at CVS. What is suppose to be a professiona environment, an environment that employees exhibit compassion and care only exhibitted, ridicule, belittlement and patrinonizement. Today, 12.14.2023, I encountered very shocking and strange behaviors from three managers, please note well, not employees, but people who hold the title of managers at the 218 Myrtle Ave location @ approximately 1 pm. I went to return two opened lipsticks which I disclosed that it was the wrong fit for me. I had only bought it the day before. I did READ my receipt that I could return items within 30 days. Manager #1 (unbeknownst to me at the time) took the items and my receipt and paged someone. Manager #2 (unbeknownst to me at the time) came and before he addressed me Manager #1 spoke with attitude telling him the items were opened. Manager #2 asked the return reason and I told him it wasn't the right fit for me. He then responded with some disgust that "we do not accept open items". I asked to see the policy and he shrugged and repeated with even more disgust that it is the store policy and he walked away. I turned to the only one responsible and professional person, the associate cashier and requested to speak to the manager, she turned to Manager #1 and said she is the manager. I asked Manager #1 her name and she stared me down. I asked a second time and she just kept staring and then said "NEXT" to the person behind me, even though the aasociste was available and continued to ignore me. I was appalled and shocked by the behavior so I took out my phone and began recording, I asked again if she was the manager and the only thing she did was to take out her phone as well and started recording, telling me the wig I was wearing was a bad wig. I asked the associate if their was a regional manager that I could speak with and she pointed to Manager #2 who was behind me. I turned around to look at him and he walked away. I asked the associate the names of the managers and she said their names were outside on the wall. I went and look, but didn't see it. When I returned Manager #3 appeared and asked how he could helped. I asked him to discuss it in a quiet area so we stepped away. After explaining what happened he proceed to patronize me telling me that it goes both ways inferring that I did something wrong and ,it is against the store violation to film. He told me he would allow me to exchange the items just this once because I was visibly shaken, embarrassed by this ordeal. I told him that is not the root cause of the problem and I need to see the return policy. He directed me to the website (this was the answer I was looking for from the first manager. I really needed to read the policy). Manager #3 allowed me to exchange the item, but kept my receipt. After I left the store, my coworker Google the policy and discovered that CVS had a 100 % guarantee for beauty products opened and unopened. Because Manager #3 was fairly respectful to me, I thought I would informed him of CVS policy so he can be informed and educate his staff. I called, told him my name and that I was in the store earlier and informed him that CVS has a 100% guarantee. Before I was finish speaking he cut me off saying that he addressed the situation and this was the last time we are talking about it, speaking down to and if i were his child, and he hung up on me. I know many companies try their best to train staff, but both managers, especially the woman were exhibiting unprofessional and negative behavior, in front of subordinates and other customers. Needless to say that was my last visit.

I am so disappointed and disgusted my friend got at this CVS by the manger name Fayebian on 1/5/24. She went there to buy some items and ti make a return. She needed a lipgloss that was locked up so she requested assistance. He proceeded to open the case and instead of giving her the lipgloss he walks it to the register. So she was confused but she continued shopping. Once she was ready to check out she had her receipt for the item she wanted to return. He barely takes a look and tells her oh you didn't buy this here and I am not returning it. He proceeded to say he can deny return based on his discretion. He tells her she needs to go back to manhattan. So she asked him to show her where it says that on the receipt. She asked for his boss and the corporate number. He gave her 401-765-1500 she called while in the store. It made her do a bunch of different prompts and then it hung up. So she went on the CVS app and was able to get through with someone. The young lady on the phone told her she's able to make a return to any CVS as long as it's within 60 days. We went back to the register and put the phone on speaker so this so called manager could hear. At this point he has to do the return he then opens the eyelash glue that she was returning I'm guessing trying to see if it was in there. Even after that he's trying to find a ways to try and control the situation by saying he's not giving her a cash refund. This level of disrespect is not acceptable. He needs to go back to training or demoted because clearly he does not know how to manage properly. You can even see the cashier was uncomfortable with his antics. I can only imagine how many ppl of color he does this too. Store# 13019 transactions done on Reg#12. I will be contacting corporate to file a formal complaint about this treatment.

I truly can’t believe what this place is able to get away with while staying in business. I could write a novel of bad experiences, unfair treatment, disservices, disappointments, amoral treatment all at the hands of this hellish corporation. This location puts 1 intern at the register during the busy hour. Expect to wait at least 1 hour. But most likely your medication will be out of stock. Or they will say they’re filling it but they don’t.VERIFY COUPON PRICES WITH GOODRX. DO NOT TRUST THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEYRE GIVING YOU THE COUPON PRICE! I saved $40 off their “coupon price” that “should be the same as GoodRx”.Please go to your local mom and pop pharmacies. I only go here for one medicine I can’t get at my local independent pharmacy. YES LOCAL PHARMACIES TAKE MEDICAID.

Never write reviews, but the pharmacist here was the rudest I've ever encountered. She was annoyed when I called and didn't even say goodbye when hanging up. In person she didn't approach to talk to me. When I followed up with a call because I had further information about the issue we were trying to resolve, she picked up the phone and said "I've already spoken to you twice, why are you calling." Will not return here or potentially to any CVS because of this interaction.

Booked a flu shot online - came in and was told they don’t have a pharmacist to give a flu shot - which is strange cause all pharmacies should have a pharmacist who should able to do it. I should have asked if there was a pharmacist even staffed cause that’s probably illegal if one was not there. Wont be backIn addition they were not slammed with customers (cause I came at 4pm took some time off work to get this)

I’ve been to this place twice and had terrible experiences, the staff are lazy and useless. It’s pretty dirty in there as well.

Rip off for passport photos. Won't let you print your own. Don't get ripped off. Use PassportPhoto app to take passport pic. Get passport photos sent to you for much less than this place charges. All from comfort of home.

They were rude about me asking a question about me wanted to make a soft cast for my dog. Instead of helping I got attitude and told to go to the Vet which they are the ones telling me what I can do for my dog since I am not from NY.

This place sucked, gave me the run around on medication and made me go between three different pharmacies before actually being able to fill my prescription at this original location. I will never use CVS pharmacy again.

Thought it was just me. Manager is a disagreeable individual. He does not provide professional customer service nor does he show (basic) politeness to all customers. He has grown accustomed, in the years, to being extremely rude to customers and consistently reprimanding them at the register(s) as if they are employees who work for him. One star is for the great staff. Avoid this location. Manager needs major re-training.

The security guard at this location made me feel extremely uncomfortable and like a criminal. When my daughter and I walked in, he made it very obvious that he was watching us specifically, moving from his post to watch us get drinks from the cooler. I don’t know if this was of his own will, or if he was told to do so, but as a ExtraCare member and a law abiding citizen, it is disheartening to know that Black people are still being profiled solely based appearance. My typical pleasant experience at this location was soured by that security guard’s actions. The cashier, however, was friendly and professional.
