Pharmacy never answers the phone. Everybody in here seems slow. Poor management but the pharmacy is horrible. Save yourself now and use another pharmacy in the parkslope area.

The workers have no customer service knowledge. They lack in courtesy and are lazy. Went in to get a picture printed, and after I spent 10 minutes setting up my pictures, they told me the service was not available because the printer was not working properly and they were waiting for the technician SMH. ?

Bernstein, NP is an excellent provider for the minute clinic! I can't say enough - has wonderful bedside manners, extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for his patients. Thank you!

Awful service when it comes to the pharmacy and refilling prescriptions. Short tempered staff.

Clean and staff very helpful. It was nice to see items on the shelf that were not locked up. Thank you CVS

The nurse at the minute clinic (I think her name was Jasmine) was incredibly helpful and kind. The pharmacist was also very helpful. I felt grateful for their help and expertise.

I rarely write reviews, even more rarely negative ones. The pharmacists/techs I dealt with at this pharmacy are extremely rude, neglectful, and unhelpful. I came in at 6pm for a prescription and the pharmacy said that they could not find it, despite the fact that I had received confirmation an hour prior that it was ready. Because I couldn't miss a night of my medication, they suggested I go to CITYMD to get it re-prescribed. I paid the copay at CITYMD (again, despite having a prescription already) and then returned to CVS. I returned to CVS at 8pm immediately after CITYMD and waited 45 minutes to be seen, when a pharmtech named Hannah or Heather (can't tell) accosted me for "coming in late" (I had been there trying to pick up since 6pm) and then under her breath said "I fucking hate people." By this point, their "registers had closed" and she had me pay $79 for the medication that is fully covered by my insurance. When I arrived home, I realized she gave me the WRONG medication. I came back in this morning and a different pharmacist tried to say that the medications are interchangeable (they are NOT), which is extremely dangerous. I have never been treated so horribly by supposed "medical professionals." I have now been waiting 45 minutes for the correct medication-- it's not looking promising. Please, do not come to this pharmacy. I was verbally accosted, disrespected, and my health was put in abject danger by their neglectful practices.

Attempted to obtain compression stockings, which apparently they do not stock. The clerk at the pharmacy counter just stared at me with big attitude as if I was intruding on her. Since the last customer had left I figured I would approach because she was just standing there and didn’t appear busy. When I gave her the paper she gave it back to me; “we don’t have that here.” I guess she was mad that I bothered her. Most of the people here have bad attitudes and the customer service suffers for it.

I came to my vaccination appointment and the worker named Cassidy took me into the office. When I told him I was here for my Hepatitis B vaccine appointment he asked me why I was getting that vaccine. Does Cassidy not know why people get vaccinated? What a weird question. Then he goes into how people don’t usually get that one because they got it when they were kids. I told him my doctor suggested based on blood work. Then he asked me for my medical records from when I was a kid. Huh? I told him straight up “it sounds like you’re trying to talk me out of getting this shot.” Mind you this was my second shot of the series. His response to that was “I’m just trying to figure what I’m supposed to be doing.” Odd thing to wonder Cassidy because I just told you what you’re supposed to be doing. This dude even goes on Google and starts looking at the CDC recommendations for the vaccines to see if it’s appropriate to vaccinate me!!!!!!!! Maybe he’s wanting to be a doctor? Has there been a rash of people getting hepatitis b vaccines for suspicions reasons? Is he protecting precious inventory? Maybe he’s a antivaxxer that infiltrated? I had to explain to him multiple times I am there to get the second shot of the hep B vaccine. When he finally relented from trying to give his opinion on whether I should get the shot or not he couldn’t find my information in the system. That’s right. The first shot was a couple of months ago at a CVS and this employee could not find that record in the CVS database. So he didn’t know what brand of vaccine to give me. My appointment was a wash because Cassidy didn’t know what to do anyway. If you get a vaccine at this location do it after 6:30 because the office Cassidy works at will be closed. I made a much later appointment for the same day and the two women that attended to me were on point. I wish I got their names. But I was out in 2 minutes. But really you should go to Neergard around the corner. After I left Cassidy I went to Neergard and asked them if I can start a new regiment with them. They said that’s a bad idea and that you’re not supposed to mix vaccines (they don’t carry the brand of the first shot I got). Plus you all can guess the insurance implications. Note that I asked Cassidy if I could do that and he said yes. “That’s fine to do that.” Liar. You have to wait 6 months if you’re switching vaccines. And get this! Neergard was able to get me my vaccination record that Cassidy wasn’t able to get. Guess there’s a state registry? Anyway, I immediately went back to Cassidy because I had the brand information and he could give me the proper shot. I got there 8 minutes after my original appointment time. Tried to make a new appointment but the machine said the next appointment is two hours later. The waiting room was empty and I asked Cassidy if he can give me the shot real quick since we now know the brand and all the paperwork was done 15 minutes ago. He said I can wait to see if someone cancels. (That was probably the highlight of his day). The waiting area was empty. I called CVS and filed a complaint against Cassidy because of his judgy incompetence. I think the minute clinic thing that Cassidy staffed might be full of people that couldn’t get into pre-med so they go there and act like doctors. Or maybe lazy people that spend a lot of energy to not have to work? The pharmacists were much better. So yeah. Avoid the minute clinic if you don’t want to go to Neergard around the corner. You’ve been warned.

I absolutely loathe this CVS. They don’t call you to let you know if there are issues with filling prescriptions, the pharmacists are absolutely apathetic and the service is painfully slow. However, I stuck with them because they are open until 8. Today, I came to find out that convenience isn’t something I can count on here. I got there a few seconds after 1:30, they shut the gate in our faces saying they have a lunch break. The lady in front of me had been waiting 10 mins! Absolutely horrific service. Will be changing pharmacies.

This review is specifically for the pharmacist administering vaccines. I was aware that I'd be paying out of pocket for one of them, and the pharmacist made a weirdly huge deal about that, I soon found out the reason was because they'd have to leave the vaccine area and go to the cash register so I could pay (truly, not a huge distance). Also weirdly ribbed me for an allergy that I have. I really do not know what's wrong with this person, but it's possibly the worst bedside manner (or lack thereof) I've experienced. If you're uninsured and are paying out of pocket, expect to be stared at and treated like a huge inconvenience. Go to Neergaard instead.

When Maria Reyes (Staff member)asked me if I needed help I asked about an item and she walked me right over to where I was easily able to select it. Everyone is extremely helpful at CVS!

Incredibly unprofessional and incompetent CVS and CVS pharmacy staff. (Saturday, 9/23/23). The pharmacy cashier couldn’t be bothered to look at the details of my prescription sent over from the CityMD nearby the night before. It was a 3 part prescription for an infection. I asked about the cream and insert, but didn’t know the name for them, and bluntly & rudely said she only sees the prescription for the antibiotic dismissing me away after giving it to me. She clearly did not want to speak to me and help me so I went to the other side of the counter for pick-up and questions. I asked the lady there helping to please look at what CityMD sent over to them because I can’t understand the doctors note on my cityMD phone app. She just proceeded to scroll and scroll telling me nothing. Then she said she doesn’t think it’s covered by insurance to which I said “that’s alright. how much is it? I’ll just pay for it” because it’s an infection and I of course just want to leave and have it treated. And she proceeded to mumble and then say oh well actually it’s not showing up as in stock. She acted so slowly! I had to bring up the doctors note myself to help tell her the name of the cream she was looking for. The pharmacist I’d spoken with on the phone earlier was behind her. He had been polite, explained the prescription, and expedited the prescription earlier on the phone. I point him out to her and ask if he can speak with me since he had spoken to me that morning. She turns to tell him, and with his back turned, without moving a muscle, he sternly says “10 minutes!”. I could not believe a well-staffed CVS in such an affluent neighborhood, Park Slope, was acting so impolite, unprofessional, and incompetently. The lady said sheepishly that it’ll take a little bit of time to look for it. I said okay, I’ll be in the store and come back in 10 minutes. I’ve been in plenty of under-staffed CVS pharmacies where they are competent, professional, and working hard to compensate for being under-staffed. When I do come back to the counter, I’m told by the the lady that it is out of stock and they can reorder the cream and have it by tomorrow at 4pm if I want. I say okay that’s fine. I call the next day to make sure the cream is there and has been ordered. The rude pharmacist answers and assures me that they do have it at their store now, it’s just over the counter so no need for a prescription. My father does me the favor of picking it up for me and they have the audacity of pretending like they’d never said that to me over the phone and rudely telling him that they don’t have the cream, etc. My father spoke with the manager to alert them of the utter unprofessionalism and incompetence. The CVS staff at check-out is no better either. They seem to only have time for locals in the area who want to chat for 10 minutes at the check-out and hold up the line of people trying to buy a few things. I went to purchase some things after just getting the antibiotic that first day, she started to bag the items into a bag too small so I asked for a larger bag. She didn’t know where they were and had to ask the cashier next to her who pointed to the other side of her cashier station. As someone who was worked in retail and has shopped at a store, cmon! What are you paying the employees to be doing? They seem to just want to chat to locals, have their egos stroked, and slack off. A pharmacy that deals with peoples healthcare is the last place incompetence, pettiness, & unprofessionalism should be tolerated or allowed at. Please do better. You are losing customers with terrible customer service, and more importantly, you are jeopardizing people’s health. I will never be returning and telling all my friends in Brooklyn to not come to this CVS location. The pharmacist in specific was very petty, rude and unprofessional. He seemed to me to be the one leading the toxic unprofessional work atmosphere on 9/23/23 and 9/24/23. DO NOT COME HERE, YOU WILL BE TREATED UNFAIRLY AND UNPROFESSIONALLY. GET YOUR MEDS AND HEALTH CARE ATTENTION ELSEWHERE IN BROOKLYN.

CVS sucks. The fact that they have to close their pharmacies, to guarantee their employees get a "lunch break", just speaks to the overall pathetic-nature of their management, at both a store level and a pharmacy level. The fact that they do it while you are waiting on line, regardless of how long you have been in line, and regardless of the number of people in line just speaks to apathy. Apathy is a silent killer- retailers beware, you are all suffering from it right now. CVS is lucky that many of us are forced to use them. I am seriously contemplating paying more, and am willing to get less, just to skip the terrible CVS experience. It's just that terrible of an experience... I get that I should, and can, plan my afternoon differently, but at 47, and having grown up in a world where pharmacies are open when the store is open, and people are generally competent, I will continue to expect more. Somehow the entire store doesn't close for 30 minutes... I just refuse to accept this as the new normal; it's not ok. It's pathetic, on the human side, as well as the corporate side. I wouldn't give them a star if they paid me; oh, nevermind, Google makes me give them at least one star to post....
