Wow. Called the pharmacy to confirm Moderna under 12 booster availability before my son’s upcoming appointment. The guy who answered said, “Does your kid take shots?” (Huh?) “Because if he fidgets at all, the pharmacist will tell you to leave and go to CityMD or the hospital.” CityMD doesn’t even offer COVID vaccines. Super bizarre. Going to Rite Aid instead.

Do NOT use this pharmacy. They have old systems and rotating pharmacy staff making mistakes that leave me without meds that I must have to control my pain for serious spinal issues and literally crying in pain. Im moving all of my and my husbands scripts asap. Also they have low inventory on other store products. Go someplace else

Can the rating of this CVS be lower? Yes it can. I made an appointment for vaccine and showed up. They told me no vaccine today. No one contacted me and I took a day off to stay at home for the vaccine today. the worst of the worst

If I could do zero stars I would. The pharmacy guy that answered the phone, refused to give put of pocket price for a prescription medication. He also hung up on me while I was providing the information. Look at other reviews. Do not go here. They are rude, condescending and not knowledgeable. I work in healthcare so I know how prescription medication works and this person did not want to be bothered. I understand they are busy, but if you want someone to use your pharmacy you need to be willing to provide the customer with accurate and up to date information.

Wish I can give this place zero stars! Every single time I come here the line is through the roof basically touching the entrance/exit. They close down like 2-3 times mid day so VERY inconvenient for patrons in need of medication. Would not recommend yhis pharmacy whatsoever I'm only forced to come here since it's the closest to me but to be honest I rather walk to rite aid!

only reason this place is still open is because cvs is too big to fail. everything is locked behind a cage. even a 1.99 toothbrush I got. pretty much the shopping experience is you need an item, discover it's behind a lock, buzz the thing, need something else across the store, see it's also locked, and then give up because its too much of a pain to keep bothering the employees. these policies are inefficient for both cvs and the customer. anti homeless policies are a plague upon our society.

*Updated Review - [September 20, 2023]**Four years ago, I had a less-than-pleasant experience at this CVS and left a 1-star review. Since then, I've continued using their services for various needs and witnessed notable improvements.**Positives**:1. **Better Stocked**: The store is now well-stocked with various products.2. **Improved Pharmacy Service**: The pharmacists have become more attentive and helpful. They now explain the effects of medications in detail and inform me of available generic brands or equivalent over-the-counter options. One commendable instance from last year was when a pharmacist obtained a manufacturer's code, allowing me a significant discount on my medication.3. **Cleaner Environment**: The store is noticeably cleaner than before.4. **Staff Changes**: Customer service has seen a marked improvement, and the earlier issues with certain staff members have been addressed.**Area of Improvement**:One feedback I'd like to share concerns the practice of asking for a customer's birth date out loud in proximity to others in the pharmacy line. Such personal details should be handled more discreetly. One possible solution is allowing customers to enter the date on the card machine, similar to how phone numbers are entered for discounts.With all these improvements, I feel this CVS deserves a 4-star rating. Consistently the most incompetent pharmacy in all of North Brooklyn. They are rude, avoidant, unavailable, slow, confused, and the most unhelpful and confused group of individuals. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I have been sent text messages that "your medication is ready for pick up at this CVS!" only to go there and be told that it is not ready, and that it can't be refilled. Whatever the reason is for this broken system they operate at (and it appears to be ONLY this CVS location), they need to overhaul everything in this location to stop making the lives of customers who need medication frustrating and awful.

Sadly, I think this is just how convenience stores look now. Somewhat barren and everything locked up. I mainly come here when I need to grab something in a rush. The prices aren't amazing, every now and then they have good sales, but I come here very much because I need a certain product now, as opposed to any other reason. I also got my flu vaccine here. I personally prefer CVS because of the online portal and documentation they have for vaccines. It's easy to generate a document for any proof you need. There's a lot of random boxes laying around, which just gives a weird vibe to the place. I understand locking things up because of rampant retail theft, as annoying as it is. Also, they seem to rely a ton of the self check out. I rarely see a person checking someone out.

I implore anyone in this neighborhood to use a different pharmacy. Never in my 15 years of living in NYC have I experienced such incompetency and disorganization. You’ll wait a minimum of 30 minutes to just pick up an RX, as well as mixed messages via text confirming if it’s ready. Don’t even think about waiting in the Consult line — you won’t be seen and the employee won’t even acknowledge your presence with a simple “I’ll be right with you.” Transferring all of my business and will never step foot in a CVS again.

Incredibly unprofessional. Traveling out of town & had to get some prescriptions refilled early. Doctor sent in the script 1 week before, and pharmacy told me I have to contact my insurance to get an override. Insurance agent and I call pharmacy together a day later to get override, and they said I had to call back two days before I left to get the prescription filled since a controlled substance. Called back on the instructed date and pharmacist said there was nothing on my script that said I was traveling. Tried to explain to him and another pharmacy staff that I had already spoken to two other of their colleagues about my travel already, and were following their instructions to the letter. They were incredibly rude and hung up the phone on me.
