Wow. I read the bad reviews about how rude the people in this store were, but thought the clothes were very cute and hoped I wouldn’t experience the same. This store would’ve had a lot of my business, I just moved to the neighborhood. Will not step foot in there again.Amazing this place is in business.

Very cute trendy shop in Brooklyn- really great for a variety of items from formal wear to casual. Definitely on the pricey side, but lots of local designers like Ulla Johnson who’s based in Brooklyn.I’ve always been treated well here - Brooke especially is a gem! She helped me pick out a dress for a wedding - super friendly and down to earth.

I noticed after purchasing an item that it cost $100 less through the designer (not on sale)- the retail price was $185 through the designer vs $280 at Diane T). This sort of discrepancy is unacceptable, as is their return policy (only store credit, no returns). I’d stay away unless you want to get ripped off.

I knocked when it was open and they said they were closed due to inventory for the whole day. Why have a store if you are never open?

Not surprised about this rating. Shopping for my upcoming birthday and walked in here after doing groceries. Looking bummy. Two sales women. One other customer (older white woman) shopping. I sifted through various things on the rack. With intention to shop. Never once asked if I needed help, but the older woman got all the questions. What occasion are you shopping for etc. It’s always a funny experience shopping as a woman of color on Court street. They assumed I’m sure that I can’t afford shopping there or maybe it was just simply because I’m black who knows (hands in the air) but I’ll keep my money and spend in places that make me feel like a human at least.

Rudest people I’ve ever seen run a store. I live in the neighborhood and come in a few times a season to see what they have. I don’t think anyone has EVER said hello or asked me if I need help. I go in, look around, try things on, and then I buy whatever I like online at another store :)

To be frank, the range of products they have are just not unique, on trend, or really at all interesting enough to justify dealing with the low quality people that work here. Although, I guess the amount of past season pieces here can easily make sense when considering the low rate of inventory turns they likely have.Coupling the above with the fact that the employees here have little to no knowledge on the products that they sell makes it apparent that this store is simply a bored woman’s vanity project. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Most of these reviews are spot on - the sales folks here are SO rude and unwelcoming. I love the brands they carry, but buy directly from the designers to avoid the absolutely negative experience. I hope this serves to help leadership reassess their priorities.

Been here multiple times since they are in the neighborhood and every time, without fail, the sales people manage to be rude, unwelcoming and unpleasant. They sell relatively pricey clothes but deliver service not up to par with what they are supposedly selling. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Wonderfully curated store with essentials and interesting special finds. Lovely sales staff who helped me find wonderful things that I use daily.

I have to agree with other reviews - customer service here is absolutely very very bad!The owner is very rude and has a bad attitude. She absolutely needs help to manage her anger and anxiety :)I’d rather support other stores in the neighborhood that are more welcoming than this place where you don’t feel comfortable at all.

I entered this store to browse through : after a few minutes I found a dress which I liked : the color , the material and the style. The owner approached me , to try the dress on , which I did. As I exited the fitting room and had a good look in the floor length mirror . For me dress was not flattering , I did not like it .At this point the assistant immediately in an insensitive rude tone commented on my undergarments ! I responded that I will not do this , because is causes me discomfort. As I left the store the owner who I told about the sour faced assistant , lack of respect and utter disregard for decency: The owner went into overdrive and refuse to listen or acknowledge that she needs a good sales person in her store. On top of this , she launched into mouthing senseless nonsense about her business acumen. Poor clueless women- it is 2022 ! Enter at your own risk in this store with no customer service : In the face discrimination for persons of color.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. I have lived in the area for years but have never actually gone into Diane T until today. Wow - what a horrific experience!! I don't usually write yelp reviews but was treated so poorly by the rude and racist, ignorant staff, that I had to come on here, only to see that SEVERAL other customers, including many BIPOC folks, have had the same experience. Please, please AVOID this store at all costs, especially if you're a person of color and you want to avoid traumatizing microaggressions. The sales associates are rude but the owner herself is a total piece of work who really needs training around race and biases. The strangest thing about this whole experience was that when I told the store owner that one of the sales associates was extremely rude, she immediately denied it. Has she ever looked at this yelp page??? Diane T: you have a serious problem -- poor customer services -- and denial is only going to make it worse. On top of all of this, she boasted to me that she studied psychology and business at school -- LOL! Ma'am, if you studied business you should know that the number one most important thing about running a business is customer service, which you seriously lack. And if you studied psychology, you should know the importance of self-awareness, which you also clearly lack.

I have to agree with other reviews - customer service here is absolutely horrendous. I've never had a good experience in the store. Very unfortunate.
