I went to the Dyptique store in Williamsburg and the sales associate there was a total buzzkill. They were super unhelpful and acted like I was bothering them just by being in the store. When I asked for recommendations, they were rude and made me feel stupid for even asking.
I left feeling so annoyed and frustrated with the terrible customer service. I definitely won't be going back to that store anytime soon.

My experience at the diptyque store was marred by a rude sales associate who not only suggested that we should buy our items in France for cheaper prices and chased us out of the store, but also repeatedly checked his watch in a disrespectful manner while we were sampling fragrances. This lack of basic courtesy and professionalism is utterly disappointing and reflects poorly on the store as a whole. I would advise potential customers to steer clear of this establishment if they expect to be treated with respect.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the diptyque store due to a rude sales associate. Not only did he suggest that we should purchase our items in France for cheaper prices, but he also chased me and my family out of the store. This behavior was completely unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression. I would not recommend visiting this store if you value good customer service!

The male sales rep is not friendly and rude!
Couldn’t even smell a perfume by myself.
He also didn’t even move when I was trying to get to specific area in the store.

The sales in this store is super rude, one just ignored me and my friend when we were trying to look him for some help on the perfumes. He just walked thru us and there is no reason he couldn’t see me and hear me. When I was in soho’s Dyptique, people there are friendly and helpful. I am more sure if we get treated like this because we are asian. That’s awful :)

I am a big fan of Diptyque fragrances and have visited many stores. Here, a staff member named Marin was incredibly kind. Although my English is not very good, she explained everything to me very well. When I told her that I was traveling from LA to New York and wanted to buy a gift for a friend, she packaged it so beautifully. I am very grateful for her help.

Are you allowed to smell candles before you buy them? Because everywhere in this city that is acceptable, and you’re not gonna buy a whopping $75 candle unless you know you like the smell of i first. So my boyfriend and I walk into the store and start smelling a few of their candles. The male sales rep in this store, walks over and in a very snarky tone asks us if he can help us with anything. We told him that we were smelling the candles to see which we liked and instead of catering to the luxury experience one should have at this store, he puckers up his lips, raises his brows, and says “are you planning on BUYING a candle?”. Keep in mind we had been in the store for maybe 2.5 minutes. This man was SO rude and all we wish we said to him was “well we were planning on it, but definitely not anymore.” As someone who used to like this brand, definitely not going to this store again.

Jamal is amazing very knowledgeable, and takes his time to explain all the products and scents and even some history on the company and its origin. He always makes me feel so welcome each time I visit.

Just visited the store to try and find a fragrance. Everyone in the store welcomed me and were very friendly and kind. Jordan was the sweetest and most helpful though and recommended some amazing fragrances she was honestly one of the sweetest reps ever.i left super happy with a list. I’ll be back soon to buy ❣️. The store smells really good and it’s so cute and clean everyone is professional and nice
