The worse dmv location had an appointment for 3:30 and they kept prioritizing walk ins over appointment waited 2 hours just for them to tell me they’re closed and I need to come back another day!

The security personnel are rude, ill-mannered, aggressive, don't speak Spanish, and don't give you any directions.
The people at the ticket windows when you first enter are aggressive, rude, and don't explain anything to you. They aren't helpful at all. They yell at you that they don't speak Spanish and make fun of you for not speaking English.
The lady in the photo wasn't friendly and didn't speak Spanish.
The ladies who are standing and approach your seat to show you which window to go to are rude, ill-mannered, aggressive. They yell at you that they don't speak Spanish and make fun of you for not speaking English.
The lady at the ticket window where I handed in my documents and paid was friendly and spoke a few words of Spanish to me. This lady was the only one who explained things to me and helped me.

12 o'clock appointment it was crowded, I just wanted say miss Williams who works at receptionist was very helpful, pleasant, patient, kind and professional, thank very much ! Told me to see if I could get a seat instead of waiting on long line due to me walking around with cane, now going to line for pic's was too long I am disabled and their were other disabled older people on line we ask if they had a line for us disabled, elderly people and the security guard who was sitting on a desk , said no and he can't do anything about it, so folks started telling him to go talk to a supervisor or floor worker because she me has cane she can't wait on this long line and others are here with cane. He ignored us and so strangers went to workers and asked for help, God bless them 🙏🏽 I was in pain so I thank God! Floor Worker rush me to window she was very polite, nice, hard worker they really kept it organized and people calm , but a supervisor jumps out the office and makes a scene yelling who told us to come over here! Wasn't polite at all! Not humble! they really need accessible lines for older and disabled people! will be getting in touch with accessibility complain board..
I can't believe it I lived here for 60 years, work for the city 35 years, bought passport, old learners permit, all the documents and SS had a stain, but you can see the numbers and my name, gave me such a hard time! So I could not get my real id, and it wasn't the worker at the window she was very nice it was the supervisor and when I pdf my W2 form they gonna say it looks like a copy ! It said pdf file! I am threw! FL nor Delaware have these issues, I ready to leave NYC!

Lerners permits test at the downtown bk location got there almost 10am was out at 11:00am the employees there was quick, professionals,and polite! I was nervous people were saying long wait and rude so i bought snacks lol .Nope it was the opposite ! Thanks for making my day pleasant, Keep up the good work! I know hw it can be i am a city worker and its not always easy dealing with the public!

The process was unclear and poorly managed. I arrived for my 3:45 PM appointment at the DMV at 3:40 PM and checked in promptly. However, I waited until 4:50 PM with no guidance, and the number system was not functioning. I went to the nearby Target to use the restroom. When I returned at 5:00 PM, I was denied reentry, even though there was no prior communication or signage indicating that leaving the premises would result in being locked out. Additionally, there were no visible restroom facilities within the DMV location. Despite having personal belongings inside, staff refused to let me back in and instead handed my items out through the door. This was after waiting over an hour with no updates or indication of when I would be called.

DMV is very specific of the address document. I came in with my mail printed address and they didn't accept it. Second time, I had a day off so I walked in earlier than my appointment date to get real ID but they turned me away along with other people around 11am. Don't walk in. I thought the process of renewing your licence would be more efficient than 8 years ago; when you still can walk in. With the aid of technology and DMV didn't improve the service. I hope Trump can dismantle DMV and allow people to apply for real ID online. It is ridiculous that people have to physically bring in the document for staff member to scan them.

Awful. I waited for three hours - the employees scream, yell, and treat everyone waiting like cattle. They also won’t let you bring online bill printouts, even though the .gov website says you can. The lady taking my picture also laughed at me which was a nice added shitty touch. DO NOT GO HERE GO TO THE CITY FOR THE DMV PLEASE.

Meh. It’s the DMV. It’s hectic. It’s a real New York experience. People are helpful if you have a good attitude. It’s probably a hard job to do day after day. I was not able to get my license renewed today, but oh well. I suggest an early morning appointment. Mine was for 10am and I did not leave until around 11:30am. When there is a technology problem the customer just sort of has to learn the new logic of which line to go to first, and then where to go next, et cetera.
