I have been visiting this location for the last 5 years, and there is always an issue in the store today, and the entry door was out of order. There was water on the floor in the back with a bunch of cardboard boxes ? on the water. This location always looks like a dump. I love the store and the location, but please put some effort ? and safety in place....

I had high hopes for this dollar tree, steps away from parkslope. But it was another world when I walked in the 1st time. Aisles closed or blocked by numerous boxes, items on the floor or in wrong Aisle. It was hard to shop ( so junky) I went back a second time thinking maybe they were short staffed the 1st time or just received deliveries. No!!! It looked exactly the same 3 weeks later How is this location run???? Does management not care???? It's an insult and I will never return here ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING

Waited over 20 mins in line for someone to check out with over 200 items, then needed to void some so the cashier had to rescan everything. Went to the other (RARE) cashier and someone with another 100 items cut in front of me by waiting with someone in both lines. I had about 6 items. The store was full of boxes and 2-3 aisles weren't accessible because of piles of boxes. So much of the store is in disarray.Never enough people working. Usually smells weird. I walked out nauseated recently.I usually would love coming here. Good for cheap basics but not the dollar tree I'm used to.

A great, clean store with the best staff any customer could hope for.

Who can afford dollar tree after they raised prices 25 percent? Why not a dime raise for a year? Then another nickel? But to raise prices that high?Better go to neighborhood super market.

While waiting in line for over 20 min and line is to the back of the store the so called employee who’s just been walking around comes up and splits the line and takes the back and starts ringing them out on another cash register. As if my time isn’t worth it. I waited just like everyone else and there’s no reason you start helping from the middle back. Absolutely the worst customer service. Even when saying something he justified that he’s gotta get the line moving. Don’t waist your time here. Common sense isn’t there employees strong suit.

Like other reviews said.. Usually one cashier during busy hours (weekends and weekday evenings). Unacceptable. Photo provided is very commonly what you'll deal with going during those hours. Yes, that's the line to check out.

Horrible lines were all the way to back of store, with 1 cashier, some people left the store, we did as well... only to return. It's a holiday weekend why would have the least amount of cashiers. It needs to be checked out!

Junk and very busy. One cashier most the times. Some things don’t worth a dollar and they are 1:30

The older cashier with the blonde hair is so nasty and obnoxious I was furious checking out of that place. Not only did they not have any bags that day but as a customer i got a nasty attitude for asking if there are any to buy. Go look she said..... after I paid $30 for a good number of items. And the place was a mess. They should be thankful they have any customers at all. If rather go to target or 5 below.

I was nearby shopping at the Harbor Freight and my friend wanted to also stop in to the Dollar Tree and since I had never been in this one figured what the heck, plus they were driving and I really didn't have much of a choice in the decision. So this Dollar Tree is located near the Gowanus Canal and does have a small parking lot for customers and once you walk in I have to admit that its a little bit of chaos going on. While everything is in their proper aisles, the customers who are browsing often pick up and put down things in the wrong places or messed up the overall sense of order. Being frank it was just a mess and I think that anyone who's job is upkeep really has their hands full. There is a little bit of everything here and of course everything around you is super affordably priced since its a Dollar Tree. As it was my first time here and I had just shopped I didn't really need anything but decided to purchase a small plastic T-Rex from their toys section and a bottle of body wash to keep squeaky clean. The line to check out was considerably long and at the time of this visit there were only two people working the four different registers. I think that we were on line for about 20-25 minutes. That's rather ridiculous in these times were you tap and pay for most things.I am glad I came and I hope this space thrives but it needs some work. It was far too messy for me and product needed to be kept up on to make it look appealing to the customer and hopefully generate a sale.

If you are looking for bargains or items that cost half and sometimes a quarter of the price you see elsewhere, I think this is a good chain. Compared to other locations that I have seen, this is the largest. There are two flip sides: the location is on a dark street by the BQE, therefore not recommended if you walk (for those who go here by car it is great as it has a large parking space) and the way some items are left in carts waiting for some assistants to stack them on shelves, making the place a bit messy and unattended. I came here to buy Hallmark cards and shop is a huge assortment.
