From the moment I walked in Effie’s Boutique I was greeted with a warm welcome and a genuine smile from the staff, making me feel instantly at ease.
The shop itself is beautifully laid out, with an impressive selection of dresses catering to a wide range of styles and stunning evening gowns. One of the standout aspects of my visit was the exceptional customer service. The staff at Effie’s are knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand my daughter’s needs, offering thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. I particularly appreciated their honest feedback, which helped me find the perfect dress for her prom. An overall pleasant shopping experience. I never felt rushed or pressured, which allowed me to take my time and make a decision I was truly happy with.
Effie’s Boutique offers an outstanding selection of beautiful dresses, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a joy to shop there. I highly recommend this boutique to anyone looking for their next favorite dress.

My family and I enjoyed the whole experience from the moment we walked in. The employees were so welcoming & aware. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who has been in business there over 40 years. She seemed to be so sweet, kind and humble . We were able to find a dress my sister loves and we also got a complimentary beautiful pair of earrings to go along with it. This boutique is Highly recommended. Thank you Alana (I hope that’s her name) for helping us find the perfect dress! ? will update a pic when prom comes :)

In passing I saw beautiful dresses in the window and decided to walk in. I have a wedding to plan and just wanted to get an idea of dresses for myself and my wedding party. The young lady politely asked if I needed help and told her that I was just browsing. She was already assisting one other person that was there. The sales rep then came up to me again and asked if I had an appointment? To which I said no I do not as I was looking through dresses and she said to me well you cant take any dresses from the rack. I was like wait did she really say that to a potential customer? To which I told her so I can't look or even try on a dress because I don't have an appointment again just one other person in the store. I have never in my life walked into a dress shop such as this and be told without an appointment you can't take a dress off the rack that you would potentially buy or try on. Not one time did she try to offer to assist without an appointment. Her reply was simply that is the store policy. I have never felt so disrespected while walking into a store to look at dresses.
In response to the stores response realistically not many are looking at the sign when you see these gorgeous dresses in the window. The sales rep could of simply stated I can schedule you an appointment she just said that's the store policy. I respect it but she could of tried to book an appointment with me especially that there was only one more person in the store. I appreciate your response best of luck to you.

Such beautiful dresses and such a friendly, helpful staff. They listened to what I wanted and then went above and beyond to help pick a dress that I’d feel beautiful in for my son’s wedding. No pressure to buy until you’re sure the dress is perfect. Highly recommend this store

I've been coming to Effie's for years and will continue to do so for many more. Special occasions such as my birthdays and proms would not be complete without one of these dresses. The customer service at this boutique is impeccable. The wonderful sales assistants are lovely, attentive and extremely helpful. I've had particularly positive interactions with a lady named Inna. In addition, the wide selection of dresses never disappoints!

We searched all of Staten Island and NJ to find a fashion show dress. We finally took the drive to Brooklyn and it was worth it! Within a few minutes the girls at Effie’s found a beautiful dress for my daughter. It’s worth the drive! They have an amazing selection for all styles and ages. Thank you Effie’s we will be back!

My younger sister came here to get her prom dress, the experience was amazing. For starters we didn’t have an appointment but since we traveled so far they made accommodations for us on the spot. The young lady that helped us find our dress was so sweet and kind. Also the owner came by to check up on us and also began helping us on our search for the right dress. My little sister ended up finding a beautiful dress, the owner also gifted her a gorgeous charm bracelet to pair with the dress. Overall 10/10 great customer service, friendly, and very wide range selection of dresses.

I planned on visiting a few dress shops for my daughter's upcoming Sweet 16. Effie's was on the list. The first dress shop I planned on going to was closed, so I headed to Effie's. I was asked if I had an appointment. I told the sales girl who later introduced herself as Gianna, that I didn't have an appointment. She explained that she would help us, however if an appointment came in, she would have to help that client but that someone would take over to continue helping us. We explained what we were looking for and she pulled some dresses. My daughter tried each one on with Gianna's assistance and with each dress, Gianna answered our questions and gave her honest thoughts. She was also very patient and suggested for my daughter to retry the dresses that were her absolute favorite. My daughter did just that and ended up saying, yes to a dress that same day! The customer service we received helped to make the decision. We didn't feel rushed and my daughter was happy which was most important. It was also a relief to me, as I could check that off the Sweet 16 planning list! Planning a Sweet 16, can be very stressful and to have an experience that was pleasant and easy took off some of that stress. Thank you Effie's Boutique!

My daughter wore a Portia and Scarlett dress purchased from Effie’s for her sweet 16 and her night was magical! The dress was spectacular and the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was happy with the dress and she felt good in it!! Thank you so much Effie’s!!!

We went today for my daughter’s prom dress. We worked with Giselle who went above and beyond to help us find the perfect dress! My daughter is very picky and Giselle was so patient and knew the exact look she wanted. I would absolutely recommend going to this store! Thanks for an awesome experience!
