I recently had an issue with my sink. The hole formed in the pipe, Needless to say water was everywhere. This occurred on a Sunday. I was informed that staff had left for the day. I assumed that the issue would not be handle until Monday. Moments after I put in a maintanance request Pedro was at my door. He expedited the request. Pedro kept me informed of everything which needed to the done as he ventured in and out of the unit to get various parts and supplies. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. Such a great job!

I can’t praise the staff enough. This is easily the best living experience I’ve had in New York, and a lot of the credit goes to the folks who keep this building running: from the 24/7 front-desk service to the speedy response for any maintenance requests to the care and professionalism shown by every staff member. From the application process to move-in and just day-to-day, it’s a well-run, well-maintained building staffed by first-class (and the nicest) people!

I've been in this building for over 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. Out of the 10 years that I lived in NY, I haven't found a better place to be than Eleven33.
The staff cares deeply about building a community. Our amenities are always kept in pristine condition (gym, business center, courtyard, rooftop) and we often have community events in the building.
My apartment is built well, I don't hear my neighbors, if there is a problem (which hardly happens) the staff comes as soon as possible to address it.
Overall the best place I ever lived and plan to live at Eleven33 for the long term.

I have lived here for almost 2 years and it is by far the best apartment building I have lived in. The staff are absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond what you would expect from building staff and are just all around great people that I enjoy chatting with day-to-day. The building is always well-kept and clean. Everything in my unit functioned perfectly (I only had one maintenance request over the 2 years and it was resolved within an hour of me making the request). And the amenities were terrific and absolutely as advertised - I used the dog run on the roof with my dog almost daily. The sole reason I am leaving Eleven33 is because I am moving to another state for work. Otherwise, I have full confidence that I would have planned to stay in Eleven33 as long as possible. Building management (Rosy and Chris) were great to work with for everything from the application process, to moving in, and to having to move out on short notice for my job.

I will do my best to summarize my experience at 1133.
I have lived at 1133 since the building opened in March 2015. Here are some bullet point describing why 1133 is one of the best places to live in NYC.
1. Building is located in the best part of Greenpoint, quiet, no through traffic, bunch of restaurants and bars A+, and it's only starting to grow. (Green point beer and ale coming soon :) 1130 Manhattan ave)
2. Building has amazing amenities - GYM, indoor PARKING garage Courtyard with BBQ grills, Business Center, Rooftop, expensive bike storage, Zip Car in the garage, Laundry in some units and on every floor, building is kept super clean, Pet Spa to wash your dog, Storage space in the basement and more little things.
3. What really makes 1133 a great location is proximity to the ferry system, if you work downtown you can hop on the citi bike get to the ferry in less then 10 minutes and enjoy uncrowded boat ride while sitting and sipping on coffee. Nothing can beat that commute, nothing.
4. Having parking garage right in the building is the most convenient living in Brooklyn or Manhattan ever. This parking is operated by your personal building proximity card, no valet parking or other hustle.
5. Building Management team, maintenance and staff are amazing, anything you need will be addressed. Special thanks for all their hard work goes to Sammy, Marvin, Dimani, Robert, Jason, Carlos. . I'm sure I'm missing some names, everyone working at 1133 is great.
Let me address the shelter situation:
On Clay street right across my window there is a halfway house, for all types of people who need help in their lives. There are always a few people that will roll through the system that will be loud or get into a verbal fight with their wifes or girlfriends. it happens. However next block there is one idiot who plays drums in his fancy penthouse in the spring and summer time, he is so obnoxious that he beats all of the shelter people by 10 fold. This is Brooklyn, if you are looking for a quite tranquil place at all times, you might need to commute from Hudson Valley everyday. All and all neighborhood is safe. Look at crime data, nothing out of ordinary for Brooklyn and Manhattan in general.

Updated review after almost 10 years at the building. Staff is still amazing however Domain the management company is trying to squeeze every penny. I had two bikes consolidated to one rack bike space. I was asked to pay $50 a month instead of $25. Since 2 bikes not one. I removed my bikes since it doesn't make sense to pay $600 for a bike storage. Having affordable bike storage was worth that extra star on my review. Now had to move mt bikes to a friend's house in LI.
It looks like the top management is going in the wrong direction, please listen to tenants and their complaints a lot of competition around the building now.
Although the bike storage is super expensive, management fixed ev car chargers and provided super thougful Valentines day breakfast!

1133 was our first home when we moved to NYC shortly before the pandemic and it was truly the best place to live. The staff are the very best and they make everything so much better. The maintenance was excellent, everything was attended to promptly, with no difficulties. Truly one of the best places to live and the best part of our New York story! We unfortunately had to move because we needed more space, but would have certainly stayed if it was an option!

Just moved here and we are less than pleased. For the premium price of rent they charge the overall quality is poor. We also didn’t realize during the tour that there are so many families with loud kids, and it’s a very noisy building overall. Definitely moving when our lease ends!

The staff here is amazing and so friendly. The building is very quick and eager to help when it comes to issues that arise. I have had such a positive experience here thus farEdit: I regret that I had to change my rating. I unfortunately have to move out due to rent hikes throughout all of NYC or else I would have loved to continue living here. While moving out, it seemed like it was under-going new management. I'm not sure if it was due to the transition, but I had to basically harass the new management every week because I never received my security deposit back until about 3 months later. I had sent numerous emails, left numerous voicemails, and never received any calls back regarding my deposit, and there were no issues in regards to the state of the apartment in which the deposit would have been delayed. When I finally did get through to management, the responses were along the lines of "I have to contact corporate, its out of my control." I had asked for an email regarding updates and was patient throughout this process and still never received updates unless I myself called incessantly. Very disappointed in the way my security deposit was handled and the fact I had to wait 3 months to get it back with no communication

Today is my first day moving into 1133. Not only did they make the moving experience as smooth as possible, every single employee knew me by name, and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. Management here is AMAZING.

The staff at Eleven33 is very professional , and friendly. They do their best to get to know every resident and their families. They always welcome you with a smile. Maintenance issues gets resolved quickly and they keep you updated with any issues that might affect you building wise. Tony, the Concierge and Maintenance guys are the best. My family and I feel welcome, cared for and safe living at Eleven33 .
