I had a very frustrating experience during my recent rental. The employee I dealt with was unprofessional, unhelpful, and provided terrible customer service. From the start, they offered no effort to accommodate my needs.
There was no attempt to ensure I understood the process or make the experience easier. The employee showed no interest in resolving the issue. The lack of basic customer service was disappointing and left me feeling frustrated and undervalued.
It’s clear that excellent customer service is NOT a priority for them, and this interaction ruined what should have been a simple and straightforward rental process.

Unacceptable Service - Terrible Experience with Car Rental Manager
I recently had the displeasure of visiting this branch, and I cannot express how disappointed I am with the entire process. From the moment I interacted with the car rental manager, it was clear that customer service was not a priority.
First, the manager was rude and dismissive, showing no interest in assisting with any of my concerns. They were impatient when answering questions, and their attitude was downright condescending. Cut me off while I was talking constantly.
This shop is surely special. Manager has quite an ego.

Normally I would not make a bad review no matter the experience, but I had to voice out this one. I would avoid this enterprise location if you had any other options. The branch manager here is horrible and has the worst attitude ever. He must think he is all that special working here parking cars and running g this shop. I brought my car back here to return and was refused. My car was rented from some other branch but I confirmed with customer service that I am good to return here. When I got there the manager, didn't catch his name but he had a beanje on, smiles and says nope I am not taking the car. We are full. The car was already parked in the lot, but he refused to take it. I mentioned that I confirmed with customer service first but instead of hearing me out and trying to find a solution he smiles and says nope I am not taking your car here.
Straight up attitude and a smirk on his face. Never will I return to this location. Instead of working out the situation he found it funny it seems to turn me away. Will be filing a complaint to corporate.
Horrible customer service. Lost my business forever.

Enterprise put me on a do not rent list after I left this review....I had a terrible experience at this Enterprise location, thanks to manager Erin Snashall. I arrived at 5:30 PM, worn out and stressed after a car accident that had already taken a toll on me. Insurance had set up a vehicle, and while an attendant worked on my reservation, I asked for a quick courtesy ride—just 4 minutes away—since I’d driven another car there and couldn’t handle both. Erin shut it down, saying they were short-staffed, even though four employees were present, three of them idle.
I was drained and just needed a little help, but Erin couldn’t have cared less. She gave me a rude attitude, acting like my request was a burden, then grumbled about it being “late” before claiming she had to go pick up her kid from school (at 5:30 pm mind you) walking off mid-conversation. I muttered “keep walking” under my breath, and she turned back, spitefully telling her staff to cancel my reservation. This wasn’t just bad service—it was petty and unprofessional. She had a chance to assist someone clearly having a rough day and chose to make it worse and escalate it to an argument immediately. I’m taking this to corporate—avoid this place unless you want zero support when it counts.

It is the worst service I have ever had in my life, the McGinnes Boulevard branch in Brooklyn is the worst, they treated me like a thief by calling me and threatening me every day, Andrew and his boss do not understand the insurance and collision process. I do not recommend this branch to anyone unless you want to be treated like a thief thank you

I live near this location and always use this branch because they have great staff. However, when I returned my car, I encountered an issue. Both Google and the Enterprise website clearly state that the store opens at 7:30 AM on Thursdays, but the gate wasn’t opened until 7:35 AM. When I parked the car inside and tried to return the keys, I was told, “The store opens at 8:00 AM, so wait outside.” I asked, “Could you please just take the keys?” but a staff member, a man wearing a beanie and glasses, responded in a rude manner, saying, “Wait 10–15 minutes.”
I had come at 7:30 AM as stated, respecting the posted hours, so I’m baffled as to why my time was treated with such disregard. While the store’s door and gate have signs indicating an 8:00 AM opening, it’s common practice nowadays to rely on online information. Being told, “It’s written here,” doesn’t really help when that information isn’t consistent with what’s online.

I talked to someone in this office that wanted to rip us off. He asked $600 for a compact size car, the same car we got from the Downtown Brooklyn Enterprise for like $450 less. Always call a different office before you go to these crooks!

Staff refused service because my American passport and European drivers license were not from the same country. ??
They proceeded to tell me I should get European citizenship, if I wanted to travel with my drivers license… not sure who created a policy that refuses to rent to foreign residents. A whole new kind of prejudice that wasted 2 hours of my time. Went to sixt instead. No problem there, as there never was at any rental place ever before. Unhelpful, rude and ill-informed. Avoid at all cost! ?

I recently rented a car from Enterprice and had a positive experience from start to finish. Booking online was straightforward, and I received the car I had selected. A day before my rental date, they called to confirm everything, which reassured me that my reservation was in order.
One thing that stood out was their transparency about the deposit requirements, which they informed me about well in advance. On the day of pickup, the staff patiently walked me through the rental agreement and inspected the car with me, ensuring that I was comfortable with everything before I hit the road.
Returning the car was just as easy; there were no surprise fees or charges, which is always a relief. Overall, Enterprice provided excellent customer service and a hassle-free rental experience. I would definitely recommend them.

Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I book a car with Enterprise (as I’ve done many times before without issues) for the Memorial Day weekend. I get pulled over for speeding and as the officer looks at the car’s registration document, he notices that it has expired. He then writes me an additional three tickets (for driving an uninspected, unregistered and uninsured vehicle) and gives me a court date in upstate New York. I immediately contact Enterprise who apologizes and tells me that they will come and swap the car at my location. I wait all day Sunday and Monday morning, but no one comes. They just kept cancelling and putting in new requests telling me that the provider will be there within 3 hours. As I have to leave the Airbnb I end up driving the car back to Enterprise in Brooklyn. At this point I have probably talked to 4-5 different Enterprise customer service representatives (all not aware of my case and starting over each time), and they have all told me ‘not to worry’ and that ‘this happens sometimes’ and that I will be ‘fully refunded’ for my rental. When I return the car, the guy tells me he has not heard anything about this refund, but after some back and forth finally agrees. Fast forward two weeks and I am suddenly charged the full amount on my credit card. I go there again and ask what’s up? The same guy now claims he has never promised me anything and that customer service was making a lot of ‘wrong promises to customers’ that Memorial Day weekend (!?). After arguing for some time, he finally agrees to refund two of my four days. Now I’m stuck with 3 charges and a court date for driving an unregistered Enterprise vehicle, and Enterprise has been totally unable to tell me what they intend to do to resolve the issue. I have spent so much time and energy on this so far and am still waiting and hoping for them to take action and responsibility. It seems impossible to get through to anyone with some real authority and knowledge in Enterprise and the representatives at the branch act as if it’s not their job to help me resolve this. I have even made it very easy for Enterprise to act by providing them with all the information they need to contact the Court Clerk and take responsibility.
