So far I’ve purchased a sofa and a recliner at this store. Great service and the owner is very knowledgeable. He has a good variety of styles and inventory to choose from. I plan on coming back for more furnishings in the future.

I discovered Exceptional Furniture via a Google search. I then visited their showroom and purchased some furniture from them. The furniture was delivered promptly and the whole experience was pleasant and easy.I highly recommend Exceptional and plan to patronize them again.

I was first given an estimate of 4-8pm for delivery after ordering a table off of Amazon. When I finally got a text that the delivery driver was on their way, it was clear that they would not arrive until after 10pm. I contacted the delivery driver and said NO way, you are going to need to deliver at a reasonable time during the day. The driver said that they could retry in a few days. I then found out that Amazon third party delivery/sellers are NOT permitted to deliver anything past 5pm. I was told my table would be delivered a few days later between 12-5pm. On that morning, I woke up to creepy texts like “good morning dear” from the delivery driver, who then proceeded to say that he “needed more time” and would once again fail to deliver by 5pm. At this point, Amazon launched an investigation and formally asked that a DIFFERENT delivery service/carrier be used to deliver my table. Instead of responding, the owner of EFURNITURENY had the creepy delivery man show up unannounced at my door past 5pm. When I tried to refuse the package, the owner called me and repeatedly pressured me go into accepting the package. I was so uncomfortable that I had to ask my stepfather to drive over immediately for assistance and safety given this creepy delivery driver and invasive situation. The owner called me to make endless excuses and claimed I had no choice but to accept the package. He clearly had no idea that he was attempting to manipulate someone who knows better. The owner attempted to blame ME for their repeated failures to deliver on time, among many other predatory angles. This entire “business” is absolutely disgusting and beyond unprofessional.

My husband and I went searching for a couch all over Brooklyn. We hated everything in Ashley’s, Raymour and all those other furniture stores. Also lead times for those popular places we’re about 5-6 months. We found exceptional furniture randomly just by googling places after lunch in park slope. When we arrived there, we were underwhelmed by the store. It’s a small store above a car wash with furniture not to our liking. We met with Arkadiy who asked what we were looking for. I showed him a photo of a pretty white down modern couch we had been swooning over. He immediately ran to his office and pulled out 2 catalogs with 2 sofas that we loved. He then brought us around the store showing us how the couch would feel with different fabrics and sat us down on sofas with the same down filling. The lead time was only 6 weeks. The delivery guys were great and were in and out in under 10 mins. Highly recommend!!!

Arcady came highly recommended by close friends of ours and our expectations were met. We were unable to shop around in stores due to the pandemic so Arcady took time to email with me back and forth regarding furniture, dimensions, product recommendations, etc. This Saturday we had our new dining set delivered and we are thrilled. The quality is top notch, sophisticated, comfortable and easy to clean. We’ll be returning to him to purchase all new living room furniture in the coming months.

When I walked through the door I was amazed at the quality of furniture that was on display in an area that I would normally just be driving through. I came to the store seeking a Michael Amini bedroom set that I saw online, and I did not leave disappointed. The price was better than expected for such a quality type bedroom set. Unfortunately for me I purchased my bedroom furniture just before the COVID-19 pandemic, and from the time of my initial visit to the time of my delivery they were very professional. They exhibited the patience, and concern that is needed as we try to navigate our shopping needs during these unordinary times. The word EXCEPTIONAL is not just in their name, but it also describes their level of service. So if you want good quality furniture, and EXCEPTIONAL service then Exceptional Furniture is the place to go.
