On 11/20/23 around 1:30pm, my elderly parents went to this store and were shopping for the holidays, My father takes care of my mother as my mother has a condition, he thought it would be nice to take her out of the house so he took her to Kings Plaza, while in Express, My father gets in line and starts paying for his stuff but obviously anyone with few brain cells can tell he doesn’t speak the best English, but he is trying. So the cashier that is ringing him up starts having a side conversation with a friend of his who didn’t look like an employee but regardless, wouldn’t you want to finish what you have and then move on to the conversation? Well my father mentioned somthing like that in his broken English (more of a help me way) because he didn’t know what else to click on the screen. The cashier went crazy saying stuff like “who do you think you are telling me what to do” and what not, both my parents are confused and now he gets to a point of yelling while the store is watching and then tells them they are not allowed in the store and kicks them out. In stead of really arguing with the guy my father thinks of my mother and her condition and just leaves. The best part of this experience was when he stepped out of the store this cashier who by the way was telling them he was the manager, walks out side and fallows them to tell them that they need to wait because mall security was coming, now my father is scared because of the way he’s acting and fallowing them around out side the store in the mall. Keep in mind this is all happening while “the manager” is yelling on the top of his lungs while shoppers are watching… Anyway, instead of continuing their shopping in the mall, both my parents walk out the mall in fear of retaliation to them and because they don’t speak the best English they feared they would be blamed for what ever it was this loser was yelling at them for. The reason I came to a review was because they actually feared for their life at this point due to being fallowed/erratic behavior and considering the circumstances they were in. I am in contact with corporate now about this I really hope they have some kind of camera evidence of this event and fire the guy who claimed to be a leader, leaders don’t do that they creat better leaders and this was not it. EXPRESS DO BETTER please. I’m sure this person who claims to be a manager with behavior like a disturbed child has had interactions like this with others in the past. Your managers and other team members are a reflection of your brand. This was very sadUpdate: 11/29/2023, If could take away the 1 store I would, I spoke to Molly from corporate and she was great at listening and understanding the issue but offering something to make your next visit better isn’t solving the issue we are not going there again, and I voiced this to her as well. It was never about the money it’s about safety for people that go in to shop. I do not recommend shopping at the Kings Plaza store after seeing a few reviews it shows this is common practice for this store. I get it Molly can only do so much from what it looked like. This was a huge disappointment. Please do your self a favor and don’t go there.

when I tell you the ‘employee Richie at this STOREhas done it again . . . . HE IS THE BEST,HES THE MOST PATIENT GUY YOU WILL EVER MEET IN THIS STORE MAKES ME WANNA COME BACK EVEN MORE , I usually don’t write reviews but i just had to make one for him , he found me a last min outfit for a weeding and everyone LOVED IT 10/10 when coming to this store please ask for him , he needs raise or something cause this guy works his wonders !!!!!!!

Only 2 employees was there and one had to stay at the door. The other on the register doing go backs and managing the changing rooms. I understand cut backs but this makes customers not want to come back into the stores. To be clear this rating has everything to do with corporate not the employees.

Horrible experience from the cashier keke. I placed my clothes at the counter when there was no customers on line, and no cashier at the register. keke got back to the register in a few minutes, she tells me to get to the back of the line, which formed while she was away. I explained to her I was there first waiting for a cashier at the counter when no customer was there.. She insisted i get back on line since “there’s a sign that says to wait here” in a very rude tone. Very bad customer service

Rudest cashier I have experienced in a looong time, the guy was literally wrinkling, shoving clothes into smaller bags and acting like the customers were a bother—last time I shopped there.

TLDR: I heart this Express Branch.My dress style ranges from edgy to bohemian chic, well more boho than chic so Express never called to me until recent months. I'm starting to feel for a bit more structure in my wardrobe and I thought Express would be a good place to browse.Enter Ms. Cassidy at the Express Kings Plaza branch (falling in serious like with Kings Plaza as well but that's another review). Ms. Cassidy made an Express shopper, believer, follower like what do you call them? Expressionista? Well Cassidy made an Expressionista out of me.Ms. Cassidy looked after me so well. Not only was she manning the tills while I was there, but we were still able to have an extensive conversation about my style and the look I was trying to achieve yada this, yada that.At no time did I feel rushed or that she wasn't being genuine with her advice OR that she was trying to upsell.She was professional yet I still felt like I was shopping with a home-girl.I was still undecided and left to peruse other stores. (Hiya Z -rhymes with mara).I saw pieces that made me catch my breath in delight. However, Cassidy's customer service made an indelible impression on me and I returned to Express. Took one more look and decided what the heaven, if I'ma dive I'ma dive right in.What a shock when Cassidy rang up my selections to hear her quote dollars that didn't make any sense. Nonsense!Puzzled, I looked at the tags again."Arremmm", **clears throat**"Cassidy, that can't be right?""Oh yes it is!""Me "but how?""Well I used y/our membership - first dibs sales coupons and now you're set. ""WHAAAAAT!" I could kiss this lady!Here I was, about to pay way above my clothes budget for this new image (if knowing me let's be real may only last a month or so), when she sprung this treat on me! I kid you not, it was almost a 50% discount! Listen, I don't care who you are or what your bank account reads, an unexpected deal IZA WHOLE arse DEAL!She really didn't have to because I had no idea about these perks and would have left happy with my purchase BUT, her great saleswomanship made an Expressionista out of me.Cassidy, thanks for hooking me up. Thanks for making my shopping experience at Express such a pleasure. You've definitely made a repeat customer out of me and I've even download the app. You're a true siSTAR!Can't wait for you to see my pics when I unleash this new NEW on the world!Everyone, ask for Cassidy when you get there. Pease, don't rush. She has time for all of us.Update:, I've since been back a few times and ALL, THE WHOLE EXPRESS TEAM IS WONDERFUL!
