The Service I was just offered is concrete low. Especially coming from a supervisor. Telling a customer they don't want to give them free food. The food I bought but left at the cashier counter accidentally. Let that sink in.

Roaches in wonderbread. I've shopped at the Ralph Ave. store since they opened. Never had a problem until a few days ago. Purchased a Wonder bread, my wife looked at it 2 days later and before she opened it saw 2 roaches, one large and one small. I took a picture a through the bread away.I don't want roaches in my house. Complained to the store manager on 01/20/24 about 4:00 PM and even though he came over eating a big bowl of food I explained what happened and that I am a very good customer. He rudely asked if I had the receipt and no I didn't save the receipt. This was a wonder bread that cost just a few dollars. I never needed to save a receipt for groceries.I told him that he is going to loose a good customer that spends a few hundred dollars a week at this location. Please feel free to look up my store card and see how loyal I was. I also told him I was going to complain to social media about this. It's bad enough that Roaches were in the breads I purchased but the manager didn't even say he was sorry.

I am a Black female in my fifties and I was racially discriminated against today at the Ralph Ave Location. I was followed around by several security guards. I have lived in this community for 15 years and have shopped at this location for just as long. KUMAR the manager allows racial profiling and discrimination practices under his management.

This is a small store but the food is always fresh..and this one guy that seems to always be working is oh so helpful and polite. I’ll definitely shop there for my late night food runs when the time munchies attack my stomach.

Terribly over priced. They rob you constantly especially on the "sale" prices not ringing up at the register. A lot of the staff has a bad attitude. The location is convenient and they do keep the place pretty clean and organized.

I went to Foodway on Nov 3,3023, I purchased some Salami from the Deli. The meat was sliced from old stick which had about 6 inches left before completely finished. I made a sandwich 3 days later and I got sick from symptoms associated with food poisoning. I was sick for 3 days.I also purchased some pickles from the barrels, which are the most expensive. These pickles turned to jelly after 3 days. I was intended to put them on my salami sandwich. My issues is that real food( i.e barreled pickles) should have spoiled or rottened but not turn into another consistency( i.e. jelly). I spoke to the manager about getting my money back and compensation for being sick and he expressed I may have left the food out and it spoiled. I sent him an email with pictures of food I purchased on the same day which required refrigeration and those foods were good. There is no way food i properly stored should have went bad in three days. I wish I had the money to send these items to an independent lab to make a determination on what was going on with these items.I tried to upload the pictures I emailed the Manager Kumar so that people reviewing this can see the gray color around the edges of the meat and the jellied pickles.

What a great supermarket! A little pricey compared to other markets. But if you want fresh, variety, gourmet, exotic, miscellaneous, then that’s the place for you. You’ll also find great employees working there—like Johnathan!

Love this supermarket. Items are always fresh. Can be a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality items. I shop here at least once per week.

I love this supermarket BUT … The only complaint I have are the grocery brown paper bags you have to pay for & End up ripping before you can even get out the store. The bags are trash !! They are not sturdy & they cut the circulation in your hands. Please get better supportive bags. Thank you

For us people with allergies, such as gluten, this is a great place. Higher end prices but food options you can only find in downtown Brooklyn/Williamsburg/upper Brooklyn. So it’s a great (sometimes the only) option for lower Brooklyn.

Had great products, convenient location, and the staff was not helpful (especially the Cashier who kept chatting with a co-worker).
