Fantastic hardware store!!!! Just in case it's super cramped so if you have a wheelchair it will be too small for you. But they have everything you could ever need. Returns are difficult just in case so make sure you're 100 percent sure. But ask questions the staff is really helpful and nice and give good suggestions. Take a picture of what you need fixed or whatever project you're doing and bring it to help figure out what you will need!

Amazing customer service! I walked in with a cymbal that had a screw in it, I was unable to remove it, but the guy helped me immediately and fixed the problem in no time while also taking care of other customers.

This is the absolute worst hardware store you could ever go to. I would advise everybody to never shop there and give them their business. They are the rudest people I have ever encountered!!!! I bought an item tried to bring it back a couple days later with my receipt, and they would not return my money.

I knew nothing about wood working or tools coming into the Flat Hardware store. The owners there are both friendly and informative about how things worked. Were patient with me during my inquires and their warm disposition made me want to be a long time patron of their store. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Whenever I have a job that requires knowledge outside of my wheel house I know I can rely on Flat Hardware.

As a locksmith i use their parts for all my daily jobs, making keys, deadbolt, lock change, and lockout parts.Overall they are locked at this golden location to be accessible from allParts of brooklyn.

I went in to buy a pipe cutter for some bike handlebars and they offered to do it for free! Super helpful staff and a great neighborhood spot for all your hardware needs!

The prices aren't but what they lose in price they more than make up for in service. They know hardware in and out and are very helpful. Good place to have keys made as well if you need that service.

A few months ago the owner helped me with a project— sawing a square piece of wood into two triangles. I had so many annoying conversations with people at Home Depot who couldn’t tell me how to accomplish this. I called Flat Hardware and the owner told me to come right over. He took care of it in less than 10 minutes— amazing service, and an amazing outcome!I’ve been here over the years to pick up odds and ends too. It’s a great place to have in the neighborhood. Stop by if you need anything or even just have a question on a project— anyone working there is always super helpful.

Well stocked, and well priced. Customer service really stands out to me. The guys behind the counter are very open to giving recommendations/instructions if you ask. I've bought paint, paint supplies, potting soil, and basic construction materials here on several occasions.
