So the food at this place is absolutely delicious… However, their prices for delivery is absolutely insane… So I usually order the brown stew, chicken combo and a beef patty…Total order comes out to $19.42Delivery fee $4.49Service fee $4.21Plus taxPlus tip … So I end up spending on a $20 order another $16 between Tips… Service fee… And Delivery fee… That is… Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS ..

Oxtail is pretty expensive for such a small portion. For 25$ you get 4 pieces of oxtail. To make things worst this location has very bad customer service. The woman wouldn't release the food to me because my name was not on the receipt. Seamless does not put the name on the receipt. She was incredibly rude about handing me the over priced food.

Very bad service, the cashier was very rude, rushing me to pay when I was still ordering my food on the counter. I hope not to go back there.

TL;DR Version:- Authentic, delicious Caribbean flavor- Great value in a neighborhood where prices are steadily increasing. You'd be hard pressed to find an Oxtail dinner for under $25 elsewhere.- Have a backup order in mind as menu items run out towards the end of the dayLong Winded Version:Food: 5/5- This isn't fast food. It's authentic Caribbean food and it packs all the flavor and deliciousness you'd expect.- The curry goat is a bit salty. The Oxtail is fall of the bone decadency.- The breakfast is pretty solid too and worth a try. The boiled dumplings and saltfish remind me of a Caribbean Sunday morning. Location: 3.5/5- If you're indecisive or like a bunch of options, this location is for you. - On this one block, you'll find a Mexican restaurant (pretty good), American Chinese restaurant (meh / standard) and a newly opened Spanish buffet kind of place- The Church Ave. train station is a block over and there's a plethora of shopping. There's no shortage of foot traffic during the day.Atmosphere / Ambiance: 4/5- This is a Caribbean restaurant that specializes in to-go orders. So there's no white linen and silverware - level set your expectations.- It's clean aka brightly lit, free of debris and pest and everything seems to be in working order and well maintained.- There's no longer tables for dining in following COVID so you'll have to devour your order else where. I'd suggest at home if you get a plate because it's usually packed to the brim. Yum.Quality: 5/5- The food is freshly made and the portions are more than generous. - Customer service is always friendly and cordial. I commend that because some of the customers aren't the easiest to please.- It's not watered down or overpriced. All the menu items I tried are delicious. I can't speak for the veggie patties. Important Notes:1 - Have a back-up in mind. Like EVERY authentic Caribbean restaurant, things run out and they can't whip up a fresh batch of oxtail that takes hours to season and prepare. "me nah have that" is something you're used to hearing if you love Caribbean food. 2 - You might or might not get a hard patty. It's the luck of the draw. If you go late in the day then it's 100% possible.

I ordered a large oxtails plain just oxtails and instead of giving me that they gave me a meal that I ordered separate large containers of that I told him I did not want in the oxtails this guy Ryan to be-specific went on and charged me for it though and when I called to complain the manager hands the phone to the cashier with zero resolve and instead wanted to argue 20$ for 4 oxtails and mostly rice which is what I already ordered I’m reporting this place so hard they are going to hear about it

I decided to try again and todays SAME THING coco bread was old as if it was left out. Beef patty was soft and flimsy! Horrible location out of all Brooklyn locations

i entered the space and greet the staff: no answer. i say ‘hello’ again. still no answer from the lady and the man. i then asked if they had take away food, the man answered like i was upsetting him with my question and the lady kept ignoring me. rude is what they are. i left empty-handed. where is the Black solidarity?
