This is an amazing local pharmacy. You can text them for your refills, which by itself is worth 5 stars. There are no awful lines, terrible waiting or locked up products. But most of all, they know you. And if I didn't love them enough already, they saved my life by ordering my refill before I lost my health insurance authorization, which I didn't know could happen. What a heads up thing to do, giving my doctor a month to sort it out, when I thought I only had days. I was so thankful for their taking care of me I bought all sorts of expensive shampoos and soaps that I wouldn't normally splurge on, just to support them. Support your local pharmacy, they are much better than big chains, but they do get killed by terrible prescription middle men vultures. This is the kind of business you want to keep open in your neighborhood.

Wonderful and kind pharmacist that’s willing to answer all the questions you could possibly have about medications or supplements. very well informed and kind staff as well who are also willing to order items you need if they don’t have it in stock at the moment. Would definitely come back :)

I have used this pharmacy on a few occasions. In my experience the staff has been rude and judgmental both in person and over the phone. Most recently I had a prescription sent there and when I called to ask if it was in stock the pharmacist very rudely told me he has it in stock but he is saving it for his “current customers “ who were already prescribed this medication. There was no empathy or sorry for the inconvenience in his response. I have been prescribed this medication for years and had it sent to this pharmacy to pick it up previously, but couldn’t because THEY were out of stock. Not because I was not prescribed previously. It would be one thing if I never went there before. I called my provider to let them know what happened and they were shocked. This place has now lost all my business and I will be sure to inform my associates of my experience. You may want to consider going elsewhere before this happens to you. Gatekeeping medication is not cool. How is someone supposed to become a "customer" if meds are saved for preferred ones. Signage outside the store and on the website is bordering on false advertising saying that they will welcome transfers from Rite Aid or other pharmacies in the area that have closed with open arms if this is how they conduct business.

An amazing pharmacy with kind and thoughtful pharmacist and staff. They treat me like I’m a part of the neighborhood — even remembered my name after just one visit. So glad to have them in Park Slope.

I have no issues with the pharmacy itself, but the guy working as a cashier is not customer friendly. I kindly asked him if he knew the difference between two medications and the way he answered was very condescending as if I was so stupid to ask such a question. It's a pharmacy, people will have questions. Sorry for being a bother, I guess.

Fantastic local pharmacy! I was recently prescribed a medication that has gotten hard to find, so I was worried I would have trouble obtaining it. I'd heard good things about Greentree, though, so I decided to give them a try – I'm so glad I did! The Greentree pharmacists had no trouble filling my prescription promptly, and they gave me tips for making sure any refills I might need would be just as quick and easy. They also let me know about manufacturer coupons that would reduce my costs on top of what my insurance was already covering. I've lived in Park Slope for almost 20 years, and I'm so sad that I didn't discover them sooner! Do not waste your time dealing with chain pharmacies or Amazon/Capsule – Greentree is the real deal.

very well organized and well stocked independent pharmacy! the girl with the dark brown hair is very sweet and patient even offered to order something i wanted that wasn’t available for purchase , if i lived in the area i’d definitely come back time and time again
