Absolutely amazing. If you are interested in paint or paint making, or are an artist, this is worth the visit regardless of where you are in the city. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, while also being safety forward. Genuinely wished I lived in the city so I could visit more often.

Guerra Paint & Pigment stands out for having a spectacular selection of finely milled pigment dispersions. (Which can be mixed with a binder of your choice to make custom paints). Plus, the staff were expert, friendly and helpful.

Guerra Paint sells the individual components that go into water based paint so that you may make your own paint. This grants you complete control and allows you to make higher quality paint at a lower cost. Guerra Paint sells many unique high quality artist paint making materials at very resonable prices. I have ordered from the website several times and have always been very satisfied. Shipping has always been fast and everything has been well packaged. I have called the store before with questions and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are a artist or designer it is worthwhile to experiment with some of their materials, you will probably love them!

Simply put, the best artist acrylic paint system on the market that I know of. And by far: the number of pigments is huge, some are impossible to find anywhere else, a real treasure. Most of the dispersions are near perfection and the products come well documented.

We hired them to do a 2 week job and it turned out to be a 2 month job. They either showed up late or not at all, their workers were at our house for 4 hours a day and played on their phones most of the time and took 2 hour lunches. They said they would fill the holes and left many unfilled. They have no idea how to do shiplap. The houses are painted but we have to go back over it to get the shiplap totally covered. They’re nice people but have no business sense. If I did my business that way, I’d starve.

Great paint supplies store, love their approach to paint and their unique acrylic formulas. Very professional and versatile products, allowing the artists to really obtain the results they wish to achieve. I’m a bit fan and user of their silica flat binder, love it! THE BEST paint shop in NYC.!

I bought paint back in the early 90s here. I did a mural on my wall . it lasted 27 years and is still beautiful . im happy Guetta is still there I have another building now and i want to paint another mural there . i believe these murals will be there way after I'm gone from this existance. I'm a musician and filmmaker and I only paint once every few years . Im looking forward to a new project .So I will be stopping by.
