Today is 5/11/25. I went to Guess in Kings Plaza to exchange a shirt. I went to the register where a gentleman assisted me with carrying out the exchange. I presented the gift receipt and was asked for my phone number. I declined to give out my phone number for obvious reasons. Companies sell your information and you end up receiving spam calls and texts and I dont feel comfortable giving out my number as people can locate your home through reverse number look up. Furthermore when I made the initial purchase I never provided my phone number. The man told me I must provide my phone number in order to process the exchange and began to raise his voice and scream at me. He told me then that if I don't his give him my phone number that ill need to come back abother day and deal with a different manager. Needing to give your phone number to a retailer is false, unfair practice and poor management training as he is the manager according to him. He began to have an attitude and complain that it's late and we're his last customer and began to explain that it's mother's day and so on. Then he apparently wasn't able to process the exchange through the gift receipt, how interesting and requested the original receipt which in cases like this is not necessary as there is something created called a GIFT RECEIPT. Ultimately a nice young lady came by and de-escalate the managers poor attitude and completed our transaction after I provided them with a random number. Ultimately my initial experience the other day while purchasing these items for my wife was great and the person who helped me that day was excellent. However because of today's actions of the closing manager, my dealings with Guess in Kings plaza will end and I will no longer patronize an establishment that allows such crude behavior and ill temperedpeople to represent such a company. No company needs your phone number. Its private and privileged information and once given out it will be sold by the company and used for telemarketing.

The Guess store in Kings Plaza is by far the worst Guess store ever. Really poor customer service, they aren't versed on company policy. When they mess up they do not try to fix the situation with the customer. Instead they make you go through hell and still don't fix the problem. How can you treat your customers that way. If you don't like your jobs get a new one period.
