Absolutely wonderful store! We were looking for some clothes for our one year olds picture day and couldn’t have been happier to find Gumbo. Great selection and amazing people to help us. My son was looking adorable in such a sweet sweater from here on his picture day.

Absolutely amazing small business. My wife and I have bought many gifts for kids here, including our own. My wife also purchased a few clothing items for herself. One of the best stores on Atlantic Avenue!!!!

Was rushing to get gifts before a trip tomorrow and stumbled into this place last second. I needed something for my niece’s kids and was honestly blown away by the variety. I’ve shopped for baby stuff before but never found this much good stuff in one spot.
What really impressed me though is I was also able to pick up thoughtful gifts for the adults (my cousin and her husband) which doesn’t happen often in these kinds of stores. Karen was amazing, super helpful, patient, gave great recs and just generally made the whole experience great. Walked out really happy and I’ll definitely be coming back and sending friends her way too.

A jewel of a shop, full of unusual and eye catching accessories and furnishings; I stumbled upon the place after an appointment nearby and have sent a dozen friends there. If you need a gift, make this your first stop and you won't regret it. I bought a half dozen truly exquisite items there and kept more than I should, but the prices are very reasonable and the buyer clearly has a discerning eye and superb taste. I highly recommend a visit here, it's worth making this place a destination, wherever you live.

Karen (owner) was incredibly helpful and sweet to help me pick out thoughtful gifts for my 3 month old niece. She was able to gift them wrap them and package them up nicely for me, too. Such a great touch.
I got some pretty cute and stylish and organic clothes that will last my niece a while as she grows up. Will be back again. Thank you Karen!

Karen and Elisha are the most wonderful. I went in to browse presents for my nephew, and they were upmost helpful and kind in recommending gifts. Would recommend and definitely revisitng.

My 8 month old baby and I recently took the We Grow Together movement class with Dan - I highly recommend! I learned many tips and techniques to help my baby with movement. She loved the songs, exercises and interacting with the other babies. It was a fun and safe space for my young baby to explore movement - from the beginning stages of rolling over to climbing a small set of stairs at the end of the class!
