Had a good experience with Kevin — this was my first time doing this amount of work on my car and Kevin took the time to explain things to me and was easy to communicate with. I definitely trust him and feel like I was well taken care of.

Went in for a state inspection and was told I needed nearly $3,500 worth of work, including new tires, brakes, shocks, and other items, in order to pass. I decided to get a second opinion at another licensed inspection shop, and they passed the car immediately with no issues. This experience makes me believe unnecessary repairs were being pushed. I recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to work here. They have been helpful in the past but I don’t think I’ll be doing business here anymore.

Go to Kevin. He’s honest and skilled and has always given me incredible prices and work. I’ve been going with him for a decade and wouldn’t even think to go to another mechanic!

Love taking our car to Harry’s. They are so transparent about any service needed, and our car always comes back absolutely sparkling. Would 100% recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood.

amazing experience every time. they talk to you as if you were an actual person. no gender biases and no condescending comments. they work with their customers to meet their needs and budgets and are always upfront about charges so you’ll never be surprised with extra costs. highly recommend.

I need everybody to listen up you cannot judge this place because of certain garbage that people write Kevin is real professional a man of his word money well spent in I had my doubts at first but then I realized something Kevin the entire staff real professional they do amazing work so if anybody out there who has doubts take my advice just go to Harry's put your faith into Kevin the way I did and I promise you something you will be satisfied

I was a customer here for awhile and sent numerous people here as well over the last few years. Since Rick has been gone, the people left in charge are straight up awful. It’s like their new business plan is to lose old business. Time to find somewhere new.

I had an amazing experience at Harry's Auto! I had a last-minute issue, and they took care of it in under 20 minutes. Not only was it incredibly affordable, but the team, especially Kevin, was super knowledgeable. He even shared that they offer classes on how to change tires—such a helpful bonus! I feel like I learned so much. Kevin was so kind and efficient, and honestly, he's a bonus to the team (ladies, he's cute too!). Highly recommend Harry's Auto for fast, friendly, and professional service!

Kevin was amazing. Helped me with my car on a Sunday. Returned Monday midday, all scratches gone and a fresh detail. The detail alone would have cost me more than what I paid for the service .

This place is a complete scam. I went in for a routine inspection for my Toyota Camry as a solo woman in her 20s. The car has always been well maintained and has had no issues. They told me that the minimum $4,000.00 of work would need to be done in order for them to pass my car for inspection, and nothing less than that would be possible for it to pass. I left without paying and took it to Pep Boys and the car immediately passed inspection.
They are definitely trying to take advantage of people - really shady vibe and from other reviews this looks to be the typical practice here. Avoid!! Don’t waste your time like I did!

Extremely unprofessional. After getting my car inspected I was told to fix certain parts. I explained what I needed at the shop and after two days they came back to me with an invoice for $5k. Seems like this is too much given that I just had the car inspected. After telling them I wanted to get a second opinion they parked my car illegally on the street in the middle of my workday.

Strange experience trying to get the NY state inspection. They did their own inspection of my car without doing the state inspection, at all. Sent me photos of various parts of my car and an invoice for $3600 with a list of 11 things I needed to do before they could pass my car. I told them I couldn’t afford it, they offered me financing and cheaper parts, but it all started to feel like a scam. I confirmed with a friend that nothing on that list was actually needed to pass the inspection. After I declined they didn’t do the state inspection and didn’t charge me for it. I immediately took my car to another shop in the area and it passed and I was done within an hour. This is probably an unfortunate sales tactic they use on people who may not know any better. Be wary and get a second opinion before committing to this shop.

I was really amazed by how incredible the customer service at Harry's auto repair is. I had gone to another auto repair shop and gotten a really high quote for repairs i'd need to pass inspection, and I wanted a second opinion. The most impressive thing about Moe was he took photos of my brakes and other components in the car and was able to show my husband directly on the car itself what needed repair and why in person. His quote for service was over $600 less than the previous auto shop, and he even did extra details just to be nice. Moe has made a lifetime customer out of me! I trust Harrys Auto Repair and I'm grateful to find an honest mechanic.
