I've had the worst experience at this location. Tried going here bc it was closer, and I ended up going back to who I've been going to for years at a different location. I'd rather travel else where then ever go back to the Nostrand location. They gave me an appointment with Yvette. Not only is the place dirty and disgustingly hot, and the people who work there are very rude. Yvette was extremely rude and did nothing to help and managed to mess up my taxes. Luckily, I walked away before signing anything and went back to my person. She tried to mismanage my taxes purposely!!!, making comments she should not be making in between.

I was their client for more than 10 years.And not because I wanted to, but my Accounting moved from the company where I was to H&R.First, their fee is too expensive for simple tasks. (I was paying $700 for the same forms I was filling every year and some of them forms in some years were simpler than before, but their fee was growing anyway).But I was keeping it not because of them, but because of accounting I was working for year, and I educate her when she missed something.Now them send me scheduled interview with someone. First, how can you schedule anything without me? I’m going to schedule when I’m ready to.I called them and the receptionist or whoever told me that person I’m looking for is retired. And then during conversations to find new one he dropped phone call on me.Good luck. There are more companies to check for and most likely them better.

Charlene is the BEST accountant, I have. She's very knowledgeable with her job and caring. I always do my taxes with HR Block, help ease my headache with paperwork.

Professionalism in everything once i enter. My tax preparer was very helpful and really nice, she gave me a courtesy hug. I felt great reminded me of my deceased mother. Thank you, Ms C Lee

Yvette Braham was very welcoming. She broke everything down to me in a way I could understand. I was so stressed because I waited to the last minute but by the time I finished with her she had me at ease and thankful that I got her as a tax preparatory.

I am always satisfied with my tax prep person but every year I am getting less while the fees are on the high side. When I break even, or I must pay back, it would be hard to continue with the H & R Block.

HOLY HELL. They need a new receptionist. UNPROFESSIONAL. Rude. And trying to offer unsolicited "knowledge" of things she's not qualified for. Strike one. When I entered the establishment she was on the phone and waved her hand like she was shooing me away to the seating area. Now I've had experience in retail and the proper way to great someone would be to ACKNOWLEDGE a person. You're on the phone cool, I get it. A simple "I'll be right with you" is more than sufficient. When I sat down she was talking so loudly, for at least 5 minutes, I could tell it was a PERSONAL call. So not only was she rude upon me arriving but it was for a personal call, strike two. When she finally had the time to greet me she asked what I'm there for. I answer to amend my taxes. She proceeds to look through my taxes trying to figure out what the issue is. Shes not even a tax preparer. I try to give her some knowledge because I know exactly what the problem is and she's dismissive and acts like she knows more than me just because she works WITH professionals. She tells ME to calm down because I don't want her looking through my things and does a "calm down" hand motion, strike three. Not only that but now she's making me late for my appointment with my actual tax professional. I hate to use the word but that whole experience was just ghetto. The only redeeming quality this place has was my tax professional. The second one I went to because the first one did not listen or understand what I was telling him and was the reason I needed to amend my taxes. BUT the second gentlemen was so knowledgeable and he actually listened when I spoke. I will NEVER return to this place but I definitely took the second gentlemen's card and will go directly to him in the future.
