Was planning to make a wire transfer and my banker Rene suggested we instead issue a cashier’s check and deposit into the recipients account, effectively saving me $20 dollars. Excellent service and thinking!!!

My husband needed a simple form and while other banks immediately generate this form, the staff person there said it will be ready in a day or 2. Still waiting, and when he tried to call the bank, no one picked up the phone. It rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang. Google says they were "not too busy..." at the time

HSBC is the worst banking institution in the U.S.! It's so bad that I closed both my checkings and savings account today. The customer service is always horrible and their promotions for new acounts are grossly misleading. Put your money in bank that you gives you peace of mind.

Been a priority customers for years but they do not give priority service at the teller. There is only one teller most of the time. I was told to wait like the rest falling in line. So what's the pointed leaving hundred of thousands to qualify as premium but treated as common customers. This is the only HSBC bank in the world that does not treat priority customer as priority. I know because I travel outside USA alot.

Cant give HSBC in general 0 stars but that is what they deserve I'm not writing about this branch but the Bank itself. Made two mobile deposits and wake up the following day to my account frozen because they need to verify where the money is coming from. Now I cant even use the money that was already in the account. As soon as they unfreeze my account getting my money out and going to another bank with it

Went to deposit a check to this branch am unfamiliar with. Poor layout. No one to greet you at front. Went to a banker serving a client and she tells me to wait up front. I wait and someone comes around and says oh you have to go downstairs to the teller. I go downstairs (and that requires a turn that is not clearly marked). There are no pens for a deposit slip. I go upstairs to get one. I go back down to fill in a slip. I wait over 30 minutes in a line served by one teller. Others are fuming. I leave ready to shout to whoever is managing because they are not. Glad I am not a customer.

They moved to 174 -Montague Street, and the new place is worse. The tellers are in the basement not recommended for senior citizens, no elevator.

Worst customer service ever! The lines are always endless and they have no care for the customers experience. If I could avoid this branch I always will.
