I tried J&L Tax INC. for the first time this year to file my taxes, and I'm so happy with the results! They were thorough and professional, and I ended up getting a little more money back than I did with previous companies. I usually don't leave reviews but the quality and the accuracy of the services I received from EJ and the team made me to leave a comment. Emmanuel, the head accountant knows the tax laws inside out and I got an excellent response. Their attention to detail made the problem go away and the tax authorities settled my case. I was referred by my folks and did my 2023 taxes with these guys. They always try to communicate with me either through texts or emails, which helps remind me of what I was missing or where my taxes were at in the process. They also talk me through why I'm owing or what I can do in the future to be in a better tax situation. And when I needed help with the IRS, they were kind enough to call on my behalf and get my issue resolved. The staff there know what they're talking about. Highly recommend these guys.

Wrost tax place I ever had to file my taxes with. Not sure how they have 4.6 on google review. They’re very unprofessional, they pull numbers out of the hat to charge you and never explained where they get their numbers. Danielle the lady that was filing my taxes said several time she was gonna call me and explain my charges and my tax return. She never did. Then they will ask you for a new form and charge you a new price and take it directly from your return without discussing it with you. In my book that’s called STEALING! they’re nothing but crooks and Joseph could careless about how his clients are being treated or how the people at the front desk mistreat customers. If there was ZERO star that’s what I would have give them. I will have my other family members that no longer used them out a review as well on how terrible they are. They don’t deserve 4 stars on google.

Did my taxes for 2020-2021 for the first time through a referral program from a good friend. Filed my taxes in March & charged me 600.00 only to make an error on my taxes. I am a city worker & a simple error went from a state return of 800.00 to owing the state now 3,300.00. I have never owed the state nor had a tax preparer make such an error as inputting the wrong address. It is now late May heading into June & I have yet still to hear back from this man. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! FILE YOUR TAXES AT YOUR OWN RISK!
