Talk about lamentable everything. From service, product range, cleanliness to sheer willingness to go in there by how it looks. Mind you, this area has zero 'proper grocery store' within 2-3 blocks. Call me pampered but there is absolutely no neighborhood I have lived in NYC before that didn't have a decent grocery store within walking distance. This place boasts such a great location but absolutely fails to service and cater to its shoppers. Barricaded and always greeted by a large man asking for change at the entrance, veggies are not fresh for the price. Such a basic product offering. Can't even bring myself to consider purchasing their meats. I neither trust nor feel comfortable with those refrigerated products. The nearby fresh vegetable mini market does so much better business with people walking in every time I go and queues at checkout. But it's just a mini market unlike this Keyfoods that should ideally be ramping up with its much larger shopping space. So much so that the space next to the mini market has just opened up a meat & fish shop, which is also so much needed in this neighborhood. That should tell you it. Big grand Keyfoods 'supermarket' and yet inhabitants are eagerly waiting for nearby little corners to open up for business. Do yourself a favor and plan to walk to Flatbush avenue, even if it's winter or raining. This place is a grand example of missed opportunity and just incompetent business practices. And yes, they close at 4:50pm on a freaking Sunday. If you are hoping to hop out at 'dinner time' to pick up stuff. Go figure.

This is a decent supermarket; lots of items to choose from and the prices are reasonable. There are always a handful of lanes open for checkout. The employees here are friendly and helpful. I come here from time to time.

Not much to say. It's on Nostrand where cars are constantly double parked in front of the market. It's a lot of Caribbean folks around. Some don't have the best attitude. It's convenient if you live near. It's not very big, but it has most of the things you may need to cook a meal or make a snack. Sells other things like Laundry detergent and Toilet Paper and much more. Prices are decent in comparison to a Stop & Shop or Food Bazaar.

Customer service sucks. The cashiers and the management always have an attitude, extremely long lines, and the deli is never open. Thw one time the deli happened to be open and i asked if they had any low sodium Turkey or cheese, the owner said "we don't have anything low". Like what?!!! We need healthy choices in our community too: i already know key food supermarkets else where cater to their customers. If I could give this place an even lower rating I would.

Centrally located in the area with most things you might need to cook or snack on; this supermarket is medium sized. The aisle can be confusing, despite them not being overwhelmingly tall and stocked. The temperature is generally cold within the supermarket.EBT benefits accepted here. Prices are fair and within the average range pricing within the area.

Typical NY grocery store. Stuff is expensive in my opinion. A case of Poland spring water was $8.49. Poland spring is 3 for $10 in Jersey. Very overpriced especially for the service which was below average. Wouldn't recommend.

I used to be loyal here but recently I feel like I’ve wasted my time too often picking up items just for the “weekly special” prices to never apply and my total comes out double what it should be. Cashiers don’t care and just remove the items entirely if you bring it up with no interest in resolving the wrong price advertised.

I'm a regular customer been shopping here for years. The employees are helpful, kind and considerate. This establishment is way better than fake whole foods which is owned by Amazon and way better than pretentious trader joe. I rather spend my money on neighborhood business than corporate giant. You best believe.

This supermarket has been a neighborhood staple for decades… they’re very helpful and they carry everything I’m looking for. Thank you for serving the community all these years

Over the past few months I've noticed the cashiers became a lot more polite and pleasant ?Sometimes an item will be listed as being on sale in the flyer, then you buy it (because it's on sale) only to find out, once you're home, that you got charged the non-sale price. It hurts.

This place sells expired meat. This is not the first time Ive brought meat out of this store but its the last. I dnt tolerate bad customer service. Customer service doesn’t exist in this store. Very rude towards the customer when returning expired meat that they sold. Take your money to somewhere else. Not worth the hassle or aggravation. Nasty ? & disgusting to purchase meat with a smell
