Wandered in for breakfast while staying in the area for a few days. Felt just like a cafe in Italy. I got the granola bowl, fresh orange juice and cappuccino - everything was so fresh and the guys were

I have been going to Lella for 6 years and it is one of my favorite bites in NYC. I used to work across the street and even though I moved to Long Island, I still come here whenever I’m in the area. There piadines are absolutely amazing. Simple and perfect. My favorite is the “porcetta.” It’s my favorite sandwich in NYC. Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a must go.

Espresso is very robust Italian style, not the sweetwr fruit forward espresso served in most non-italian brooklyn coffee shops. It's not for everyone, but for me it took me back to Rome. $3.25 for a single shot is the not the cheapest in the neighborhood but it's not unfair. The space is also very lovely.

Cute homey vibe, fantastic authentic barley coffee for people intolerant to caffeine. Always fresh and delicious made to order paninis.

Very cool spot. They serve Italian coffee which is very good. The food is decent too and not expensive. We got the frittata and tostone.

It’s a cute, cozy place for a simple breakfast. I like the casual vibe, but don’t like having to eat with plastic cutlery and off paper-lined treys. Service was a bit aloof/cold. Menu is quite small, but ingredients were good quality.

This is my favorite spot in Brooklyn. Such a fun place to go to for lunch. Personal fav is the classica, you just can’t go wrong with it.Also in my opinion best cappuccino in New York- the milk is steamed to perfection. Closest to Italy you will get.

Solid choice in the neighborhood for breakfast/brunch. I got a burrata salad and the classica piadine. The salad was great - the greens were fresh and the burrata was the perfect texture. The piadine was okay, the cheese was good but overall it wasn't as substantial as I had hoped and reminded me of a slightly deflated quesadilla. I'm definitely interested in coming back to try their other breakfast items (esp their frittata).

8.18.2023* Barley Coffee (3.5/5) It mainly tasted like barley tea with a hint of coffee flavor. If I was looking for coffee, I wouldn't get this again. It was still good though since we like barley tea. * Classica Piadine (4/5) The cheese, meat and arugula matched well together in the crispy flat bread. I would get this again. * Tirolo Piadine (3/5) The speck, cabbage and parmesan combination made it very dry. It could've used a sauce. I wouldn't get this again. * Work Vibes (4/5) The place had working wifi and plenty of tables to work. There's outlets and a bathroom too. There's a mix people here to work, but they play music loudly. It is dark, so not the best place to work for me.

The salad was healthy and fresh. But not much flavor in the sandwich. Good for simple work lunch but not inspiring
