I’ve been here for a while now and unexpectedly this place is a nice little oasis, considering it’s a storage facility. Everyone that works here is always kind. They usually have cookies in the office and waters when it’s hot out. There are working gates at night and cameras so even after hours never feels sketchy. By far the best storage place that I’ve come across in NY.

I have been a customer at Lockaway Storage over 20 years, and I must say the service that I have received has been extremely professional, and absolutely the best! I can honestly say that if a customer falls behind on the rent ( The Owners) will definitely work with you! “That’s A Fact”! Most importantly they care about their customers. I would recommend Lockaway Storage to anyone who ask about a storage company!

Miguel is a very nice employee, was very helpful. They sell cardboard boxes of assorted sizes for moving here. The office is a very interesting space with lots of vintage items and tchotchkes all around.

The only place in Brooklyn with 24 hour access to your storage unit. Must recommend this spot for commercial use.

Miguel is super friendly and helpful. I’ve been here multiple times to buy boxes/other moving supplies and just rented a storage unit, and all my experiences here have been positive thus far. Miguel took care to explain every step of the process for me, and offered to show me around multiple types of units. I never thought a self-storage company could be so nice and have so much personality… Check out their front office and you’ll see (was offered fresh baked cookies and water, and the office is wood paneled and filled with interesting decor).

Total pros. Easy to lease, easy to move out, loading docks always available, staff friendly and competent, safe and clean, well-priced. Literally no issues. Amazing :) Don't forget the chocolate chip cookies in the office!

Highly recommend this storage company for 1 it is private owned. Avoid all those extra fees and headaches with the major companies who charge a arm and a leg. Lockaway actually cares about their customers I would definitely use them again!

A storage facility unlike any other! Have you ever heard anyone say their storage place had character?! Or has a koi pond?! This place is family run, and very well operated. The place is not brand new like some places you may find for a higher price. But it’s perfectly clean and I feel that my stuff is secure!
