Not a good experience, when we went to check out, she was drunk and spiraling because of a top. She said one price and then overcharged me by 300 and it took 30 minutes for her to process a refund because she loved the top and was too drunk. Please take your business elsewhere!!!

One of the best consignment stores in town! Super welcoming and I love the mix of high-end brands with luxury brands and unique second-hand finds. Don’t miss it if you’re around!

Just scored this marvelous marcasite ring! The owner, Teresa, is very sweet. She called me "Cinderella" because the ring hadn't fit anyone else.

L.O.V.E. mae. Everything about it. Clothes are truly luxury brands in great condition at amazing prices. Teresa knows exactly what will look good on you and if you’re consigning goods, you can be sure it’ll move; she’s so knowledgeable of brands. Can’t say enough good things about this gem.

I try to buy thrift bc its more economical and eco friendly and i have been exploring thrift stores since moving to Brooklyn. I was so peeved that everything in this thrift store was so expensive! They are selling fast fashion brands like Zara or TopShop for the same price you would pay for new!

Please take your business elsewhere! I have never experienced such horrendous customer service. I was a regular customer at this vintage shop until today. I went in to ask if they accepted returns either for money back or in store credit, as I wanted to return one of the items I had bought a week ago. I was told that all sales were final (Something that is typically mentioned in other businesses as you are purchasing items. However, the sign is slightly hidden on a wall behind the glass case at this store and was not mentioned verbally at the time of purchase). This would have been fine on its own, but Teresa proceeded to say that she had also "undercharged" me for my item a week ago when I had originally purchased it and asked if I wanted to pay the difference now...at the same time I'm trying to return the item and was already visibly upset that it was not transparent at the time of purchase that all sales were final. I proceeded to calmly tell her that I would not be paying the difference, as the transaction had already been completed and it was not my error or job to ensure that the charges were correct. When asked if she understood why I refused this, she did not seem to find a fault in what she was asking. Personally, this seemed a little shady and demonstrated how little they cared about retaining customers. There are an abundance of vintage shops in New York, please consider taking your business elsewhere or proceed with caution.

This place made my day!!! My friend and I stumbled upon it and accidentally spent way too much money because everything in here was so cute. Teresa was incredible. She let us have our dog run around and gave her treats. She made sure you were shopping hands free and took everything for you to try on. She knew exactly what I wanted and found a dress for me. She even threw in a pair of glasses for me and my friend at the end of our purchases. Highly recommend her shop, I’m absolutely going back here !!

This store is a GEM. I have procured so many favorite things from here and sent along many things that didn’t work for me- onto a better life. I’m devastated to learn that it might permanently close. We LOVE YOU M.A.E.

I live around the block and walk by this place twice a day. Small, understated and quiet, m.a.e. offers vintage and luxury consignment at competitive prices. The shop carries dresses, both casual and dressy which are organized by color. You can find some real gems here. I've gotten lucky with high end skirts and sweaters. My next goal is to check out the Jean section in the front of the store My next goal is to check out the jean section in the front of the store. They are not as easily accessible as they are folded closet style and not hung like the rest of the clothes. Along the left side of the shop are shoes-any type you wish. There are also accessories including designer bags and sunglasses, scarves, jewelry. The only downside to this consignment shop is that you must make an appointment online to bring him clothes that you'd like to consign. Without knowing this I brought in several spring formal dresses and was turned away because I have not made an appointment and was told they were not accepting dresses at that time because they were at capacity (March). This is a cute shop to stop in on a Saturday morning and I look forward to being back after COVID!
