Misleading about a crucial repair when they took the deposit. When I came in for what we agreed to, the mechanic was disrespectful and straight up hostile. I spent hours waiting for nothing. These guys are flying too close to the sun. Forget about money, don't waste your breath on them. If you need help, you won't find it here.
Update: shop called me, asking to take down this review, and started arguing when I said no. Who does that? If you go in, and they don't do the service on the spot, do not leave your contact information. Learn from me.

First time going to this mechanic and had a great experience. I brought my car in to get the brakes checked, and they let me know the rear brakes needed replacing. The price was really fair and they got it done super quickly. Definitely planning to come back next time I need work done.

Went to three other places, got sky high quotes. Found Malibu from some great reviews so reached out. Their quote seemed fair and they (Gene) were very responsive. However, a quote is just a quote, until the work is done - and it was done well, fast and at the exact price quoted. I have found my new autoshop!

Do not get serviced here unless you speak Russian or Hebrew. You will not be treated fairly and have no grounding to speak on. You will know when you are being hustled because no one will look you in the eye when you ask why you spent 3,000 on repairs they said you needed and now the car still doesn't work and it was actually something else new as the diagnosis....hmm...super shady....and disappointed I should have listen when I was warned about the shop. Know the language or keep it moving so you are aware....

I had an air leak in my tire. I called and they said come right over. They took me right away and fixed my tire quickly and for a very fair price. I really appreciated the excellent service!

Gene and his body shop team at Malibu do fantastic work. I've gotten 3 insurance-claim repairs fixed here over the past 5 years and they constantly exceed my expectations, both with the quality of the work, dealing with the insurance companies for payment and the customer service. Highly recommended- a real gem right here in BK. I've never used them for auto repairs, but the shop is so tidy and organized, I'd like to try them.

I love this shop. First off they are very respectful and professional. Second they do outstanding work. Most importantly they are trustworthy, fairly priced and highly experienced. I have been using them for 3 years now for all my services. My latest - a hit and run which took out my front fender, bumper, left wheel and headlamp. Not only did they complete the job in less than 1 week, the bill was significantly less then originally estimate. Plus they gave me a new license plate holder and armour all my tires. It's the little things too :)

My car was unfortunately damaged by contractors damaging the roof and side door. Once I brought my car to Malibu they took a stressful situation and made it easy and straightforward. They were efficient and were wonderful. They were great at providing updates and walking me through the insurance process. Thank you!
