I used to go to this park all the time when I lived there it's nice and more quiet than Brighton Beach Park and Beach usually is nicer and less packed with people. Lots of people go there to barbecue which is not in Brighton Beach.

Very nice place. Expecially after they renovated. Always pleasant and beautiful. But forget about parking in the summer. You wont be able to find a spot to park, unless you are willing to pay an insanely high price for the beach parking lot.
