Great selection. Bought one their whole chickens (the more yellow, fattier of the two farms they have on offer). 8.75/lb, 32 something for whole bird. 30% more expensive than typical whole humane chicken prices.Did a really simple roast chicken. Outrageously flavorful, rendered a lot of fat, made jous with drippings and extra stock I had on hand, was incredible. Really learned how big a difference high quality chicken can make today…Will be back (after my next pay check). The pork chops are tempting.

Brian was incredibly helpful and patiently talked me through every step of cooking my first big steak. Felt informed and prepared and left with a beautiful ribeye. Great service, will definitely come back.

Being from out of town and a hotel guest, I did not get to shop there. The choice of this butcher shop is incredible - lamb, chicken, New York Strip, but also beef tongue and beef heart! Extremely gracious and welcoming staff. Wished I could have given them my business.

After too many attempts to find suet for sale anywhere in NY, Marlow and Daughters answered the phone with "Sure," so off I journeyed from Queens.What a delightful shop! Attentive and knowledgeable staff, neatly arranged, and oh, oh, the meat.Pork chops trimmed as they should be, with a hefty fat layer. Cuts like cheeks and tri-tips and a variety of offal. And of course they are happy to cut, trim, grind, tie, etc. to your needs.They have a select assortment of charcuterie (some made in house, like a delicious country style pate) and cheeses and a few breads from She Wolf bakery.Two or three sandwiches were on offering that day and wow, was I happy to see they knew the best thing to go with sweet ham is sweet butter - honey butter to be exact. On a fresh and crispy mini baguette. OMG.And did I mention they are a locally-sourced, grass-fed animals "nose to tail" butcher? (You can probably tell by the availability of offal if you know your meats.) The farms sourced for in-house meat are listed when you shop.I came home with treasures, rendered down my suet and now I have some beautiful pure tallow and the pleasure of having made it.I will be going back.
