We had a washer that would start filling and then stop mid-cycle. Technician came next day, found the lid switch had failed which was causing the machine to think the lid was open. Replaced the switch and the washer runs full cycles normally now.

Had a gas range where the back left burner would light but go out immediately unless you held the knob down. Technician identified a weak thermocouple and replaced it. Works correctly on all heat settings now.
