Mavis - Here is the definition of Customer Service, it is the support you offer your customers from the moment they first contact your business to the months and years afterward. Providing good customer service means being a reliable partner to your customers, it goes beyond helping them troubleshoot, use, and make informed decisions about your product or the service you are providing. 7 Feb 24, based on the Mavis post, on this page, for us to give them a call, my husband called Mavis today and spoke to Crystal. Of course, we already knew they were not going to HONOR any type of REAL RELIABLE customer service support to us, that is why we did not call them back immediately after I saw their post. Before my husband called, we knew we were just going through the motion of calling Mavis, because we know they are NOT going to offer any type of support. I just wanted everyone to know the name of the person we would be speaking to at Mavis and what their comment would be, so that I can add it to this post. My husband spoke to Crystal this morning. Crystal told my husband the regional manager returned his phone call last month. Now that is very funny, since there are no records of Mavis calling my husband. We called the office and sent emails and the only time Mavis responded back to us, is when I posted the review on Yelp, which is when Mavis posted for us to call them, that's it, no other time. IF the regional manager REALLY called and did not get anyone, why did they not leave a message? We emailed them, couldn't they email us back, if they could not get us by phone? Is the regional manager aware that as a manager they are supposed to leave a message, for the customer to return their call. The regional manager is so busy taking care of what region, not the region I am in. Crystal is just the mouthpiece, repeating what the regional manager told her to say and do, where is her proof they called? That regional manager never called that is why I wrote the review. Don't they know there is a phone bill that can CONFIRM they called and or left a message. Again, Crystal said the rotors are over the 12K miles mark and there is nothing they can do at this point. We knew that already. Crystal is not saying anything we did not anticipate, again, she is just the mouthpiece, who is taking the heat for the regional manager; I say that because every time you call, the regional manager is NEVER available. Mavis website has the link to contact them, but Mavis do not read those emails, nor do they respond to them. Mavis ONLY responds to the Yelp post to make it look like they are concerned about your experience, and that they are willing to help; look at my experience, some help they are. Again, Crystal is just the mouthpiece, that has to say what they TOLD her to say. Forget about Mavis personnel having a CONSCIENCE or INTEGRITY. Based on their LACK of action, Mavis provides lack luster service, and once there is a complaint, Mavis does the bare minimum or NOTHING to fix the issue or come to an agreeable resolution for their customer. Sooner or later, Mavis' LACK of ensuring their customer is supported correctly, will have an impact on their pockets. Also, as stated in the previous post, if I can give them a 0 on EVERY website review that I can find and write a review on, I will. I would like to give a 0 on this review, but the site is not allowing me to do so. Now I have to select the 1, even though they deserve less than that. How are these ratings correct when you can't select the rating you really want to give. Again, Mavis, providing good customer service means being a reliable partner to your customers, it goes beyond helping them troubleshoot, use, and make informed decisions about your product or the service you are providing.

I've gone to the Mavis in Smithtown a few times recently and they've been great. Went for an oil change at the Bethpage location and it definitely wasn't. The waiting room television was blasting a church sermon. When another customer asked for the channel to be changed, he caught serious attitude from the woman at the front desk. I dropped off my truck at 1pm and was told I'd get a call to lmk when to pick it up. I was called at 4:45 and was told it wouldn't be done until the next day. To me that's unacceptable and I will never go back to this location.

I definitely would never recommend this place. Went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Was told it should be done in 45 mins. After an hr an a half I realized my car was still outside in the lot and no work was done. Finally management bought my car in to start the work. After another hr and 10 mins finally my car is ready. Very unprofessional, management needs to do better.
