McDonald Playground is a big concrete playground that has recently reopened after a renovation lasting more than a year. The new playground is expanded, looks good, and is considered better and more modern than the old one, with more to do. It features a great kids section, two types of fun obstacle courses, a big concrete wall for hitting balls, and is pretty good for tennis. However, several areas need improvement. The ground in the general playground and tennis courts is not too smooth and should be made smoother. There are not enough swings, and the new plastic swings are higher off the ground, causing kids to slip off and get hurt. The playground is also very noisy due to its proximity to the F train. Other shortcomings include a lack of tables, only one water fountain, and bathrooms that are horrible, not new, and should be cleaned more often due to flies. Suggestions for the park include adding more slides, making a soccer section with goal nets, and adding more grass or artificial grass to the big field for sports.

Good amount of space but the basketball courts are old and kind of broken. The new park for kids is newly renovated though, and the tennis courts are nice. There are also benches available.

Big park. Plenty of space to run and climb for kids of all ages.
