We leased a car here in October. As of Christmas, we still have yet to receive a license plate, and the temporary license plate expired for nearly two months now because they issued a temporary license plate that only lasted 30 days. We are basically paying for a vehicle that is not even street legal to drive. We kept asking, and the dealership kept telling us there's no update from the DMV. Then we called the DMV to see if there are any updates, and the DMV said there's no record of any paperwork being filed for this vehicle. The DMV also told us that the dealership should have a tracking number had any paperwork been filed. And the dealership couldn't provide us that tracking number at all when asked. So, of course, there is no update because there is nothing to be updated! I doubt they even contacted the DMV when they told us there are no updates from the DMV. Anyways, we called Mercedes corporate. Agent from Mercedes corporate tried to call the dealership on our behalf and couldn't get an answer, so she suggested we go to the dealership and ask for a manager from the financial office. So we went, and instead of sending us a manager or someone in the financial office, they kept sending us salespeople, including a Jimmy Callo. While they supposedly searched for the tracking number, Jimmy told us that they can't extend us the temporary license plate and for us to just drive the vehicle without a license plate and risk getting pulled over. It's just tickets Jimmy says... 3+ hrs later (and still no tracking number), we're getting a bit irate over this lack of concern and lack of service, so we demanded to get us a manager. A Richard Morris, or something finally came, and he came hostile from the start. He started screaming at us as if his screaming would help us understand his English or something. He can't even admit to just never filing the paperwork with the DMV to begin with. He asked why we can't go to the DMV and get it handled ourselves. Then my dad waved his hands around gesturing no no, trying to explain that we are the leasee, not the title owner, so the dealership being the title owner has to handle this. This dude Morris then accused my dad of trying to assault him simply because he's an elderly 70 yo Asian guy who gestures with hands while talking?!? So, at this point we're all pissed off, and Morris here kicked us out and told us to go back to where we came from. All we wanted is the tracking number cause that's the only proof that the paperwork has been filed. And they simply won't give it and get defensive about not having that tracking number.I don't recommend anyone buy or lease a car from this dealership. This place discriminates against Asians.

The staff were very nice and personable each time I came. The place is clearly busy, which leads to very long wait times to get an appointment, so I came in on an emergency basis. They did move some items from my trunk while servicing my car and placed them on my light-colored seats, but they forgot to place them back in the trunk. They also left one of their spray bottles in my car. On the bright side, they did clean the exterior. Overall, it was a good experience, but could use a bit more attentiveness to detail. I still give them 5 stars despite the minor issues because the staff is welcoming, and they did some courtesy things for me, which were appreciated.

Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn & Mercedes Benz Financial Services discriminated against me during a consumer credit transaction on 10/24/2023. After accepting a firm offer of credit to apply through Mercedes Benz Financial Services on 10/23/2023. I paid a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle (which is unlawful), the finance charge is the sum of all charges (& does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction); & have a signed binding purchase agreement. My qualifications based on the advertised requirements did not change from the time of accepting the offer, too the time my application/financial asset was processed & submitted. After, assuring my approval. Sam Faraj, the finance manager, then told me I couldn't get the vehicle I chose & would need to choose a vehicle from their inventory not exceeding 35k. After, requesting information about the initial finance charge & multiple credit inquires which is my right, The finance manager Sam Faraj, chose to abuse his position, misleading me through specific statements (ex: deceptive cosigner practices) & a lack of clear and full disclosure. Sam Faraj abused his position to further discriminate against me and demand my salesman refund my deposit & cancel the deal. I did not request that my application to be remitted nor the deposit refunded. Abusing my reliance on him to act in a manner that is favorable and benefits me. They're committing securities fraud. Refuse to resolve the matter & return my securities. They omitted information, which they are legally required to share. They willingly & knowingly providing misleading & inaccurate information to me about the transaction & failed to comply with requirements imposed under the EQUAL CREDIT OPPORTUNITY ACT. I contacted the Vice President & General manager, William Berardino to aid in resolving the matter; he instead suggested I paid cash or obtain my own financing. Despite the finance change in connection to the initial consumer credit transaction. Additionally, under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act), it is unlawful for any provider of consumer financial products or services or a service provider to engage in any unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices. Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn & Mercedes Benz Financial Services must be investigated and held accountable for their unlawful actions. They have used my credit, obtained notes that they will securities & trade/sell on the primary & secondary markets and in exchange I received lies, deception & no benefit from this consumer credit transaction.I have filed complaints with the SEC, DMV, FDIC, FTC & all other governing agencies and will pursue legal actions against them the fraud, discrimination & predatory lending practices.

My van needed a replacement side mirror and I was quoted $810 for parts and service. When all said and done they charged me an additional $1100. They said it was for service. When I told them that I was quoted $810 for parts AND service they said that they have nothing to do with the parts department. That they don't know what they are doing over there that they only deal with their own department. They are a bunch of crooks.

I want to update my review of 10/6/23 (C.H.) of the Mercedes-Benz dealership. After my review I contacted the General Manager to share my complaint. He reviewed my history with the brand and immediately worked with the Service Director to correct all of the issues. They both went above and beyond to be sure that all the recent as well as a past car problem was corrected! They were professional and caring with their approach to helping me. These gentlemen have restored my faith in the Mercedes brand and more importantly this Brooklyn dealership.

Jose Ronmil will purposely ignore your service request, texts and calls. I had to bring my car twice because he refused to add multiple service inquiries even though i called him, texted him and told him in person. Thanks

Don't honor KBB cash offers. Won't do wires. Want you to trust their worthless paper checks while insisting on car & title up front. They live up to all the stereotypes of a used car salesman NB - franchisee legal entity has no credit worthiness. It ain't the manufacturing car co fyi.

I just leased my new MB truck and my salesperson was Keith Wilhelmy. He was amazing. Definitely the go to guy. He's the best. I was in and out of there. He said it would be quick and would make it happen for whatever I decided. He was definitely right on that. Went Saturday afternoon and Monday I was driving out with my new truck. Amazing. I'm referring all my friends to him. Keith is a beast.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a brand new Mercedes-Benz 2023 GLB250 suv. With around 100 miles on the odometer the engine shut off while I was driving it. Yes it had a half tank of gas in it. It wouldn't restart. Had it towed to the brooklyn Mercedes-Benz dealer. Spoke to Mercedes-Benz corporate office. After initial conversation didn't return my calls for several days. After calling me back didn't even offer any kind of compensation for a new car that shuts off while driving. Now I'm concerned that it may shut off again. From the corporate level to the dealership Mercedes-Benz in no way compensated me for this problem of my first Mercedes-Benz purchase. Not going to buy one again. Not a good reputation for a high end car company.

I've been a customer of this dealership for many years. Unfortunately they have recently changed their sales manager who doesn't care about customer service. Avoid this dealership if you not looking for problems.

Took a friend from Washington, DC to Brooklyn to purchase a vehicle. We arrived at about 11 am. When we finally arrived, we were checked in and told to have a seat in the waiting area. The salesperson and sales manager approached and greeted us. The actual salesperson barely spoke loud enough to hear his name. We waited an hour to test-drive. We were paired with a new salesperson name OC who was a breath of fresh air and knowledgeable. The problem I have is, that while my friend purchased the car, this transaction should not have taken 4 hours especially when everything was pretty much finalized the day before. While there were some highs, there were more lows. When you have customers who come out of town to purchase a car, the red carpet should've been rolled out. Please work on your customer service. The transaction should've taken no more than 1 1/2 hours. DO BETTER!
