I'm not gonna hate on this place because they do have very nice staff and they are there to do a job. However, this specific spot would always try to make you pay what you don't have to pay. For example, there is a deal going on get a free phone with a new line in store and online. I went to multiple metros the first two stores didn't have the phone but it was free with a new line. When I went to this one they tried to charge me full price for the phone with a new line. Me knowing that the other stores would have given it to me for free they just didn't have it in stock i left. So things like that. I ended up buying it online and got my free phone with a new line. Always double check everywhere else before this one. That is literally the only thing i noticed in this specific metro pcs.

The phone service is very good.
My one star review is only to this store direct.
I arrived at my local store at 6:54 p.m. to pay my bill before my service expired at midnight, but the door was already locked—despite the store’s posted closing time of 7:00 p.m. The employee inside refused to let me in and told me to use the outdoor payment machine. I explained that I had already tried twice and my payment didn’t go through, but he still refused to let me in.
It is frustrating to be turned away before closing time, especially for an essential payment. I would appreciate your attention to this matter.

February 2nd 2025 I went to the MetroPCS at 963 Broadway Brooklyn New York 11206 to get my phone unlocked it says PUK need code they telling me they don't do that there I went to another Metro PC store and they did it within 2 minutes terrible customer service this is the reason why I report you guys

I have to pay this location $3 to pay my phone bill. I was in Ridgewood today and payed my bill and it was just my bill and nothing else. Smh, anything to get some money for no reason. And you have to have exact amount because the machine they use does not give any change back

I have four lines and two tablets by Metro PCS for over 7 years I went in there to add another tablet to my account and all you have to do is pay the month and tablet free while they gave me some small ugly tablet that was not the promotion it was the one I asked for the a9 plus was the promotion and I was not able to change it because I didn't find out until a week later it was too late

Called the store asking about product. I was told by staff to call 611 which is customer service. Customer service had no clue to what I was talking about. This store staffs are unprofessional and clueless to answering questions. The staff was very rude on the call.

BEWARE PREPAID CUSTOMERS METRO PCS NO LONGER PROVIDES PAY AS YOU GO. IF YOU DONT PAY FOR A MONTH ON PREPAID SERVICE THEY BACK CHARGE FOR THE PREVIOUS MONTH. EXAMPLE: IN NOVEMBER RIGHT BEFORE MY PHONE BILL WAS DUE MY PHONE BROKE SO I DIDNT PAY FOR NOVEMBER. IN DECEMBER, NOT EVEN A MONTH LATER I COME IN TO PAY MY BILL AS USUAL. THEY TOOK MY MONEY THEN CUT MY PHONE BACK OFF. WHEN I CANE IN THEY STATED IT WAS BECAUSE I OWED FOR NOVEMBER AND TO CONTINUE SERVICE ID NEED TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $46!!!! Nah that's not how prepaid works.They scam people out of money. They will not let you know about extra fees and policies that will not only take your money but not refund. They will not inform you of anything, so that you can have a choice of knowing what you're paying for. The manager and her associates are incompetent and unprofessional. They are not knowledgeable about the products or phone lines service. BEWARE PREPAID CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE A NEW POKICY AND YOU WILL LOSE MONEY IF YOU DONT ASK THEM ABOUT IT

SCAMMERS!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!THIS STORE TRIED TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF ME AFTER I PAID FOR MY PHONE AND WI-FI SERVICE. I called metro customer service and they told me that the manager and her team were lying to me about my phone service and she connected my phone line for me. Don’t go here!!!! The manager and her team are all in on the scam!!! NOTE: my phone is currently on because I called and talked to customer service MYSELF! And found out that the manager is lying to pocket money on the side.
