Shoutout to security and workers following the only black person around the store. Went here plenty of time before no issue. Like since I was in the high school across the street and before this place even existed. Do better with the discrimination. Just because I’m in a bonnet running out to get a few things I forgot from my Instacart order, doesn’t mean I have to steal from yall. I’ve lived in this neighborhood my entire life. Just pathetic. A second cashier that wasn’t even related to my transaction came and used the money checker on $20 bills. Thank for making me feel so wanted ! Plenty of other supermarkets that can get my money instead. Clearly My skin type is not the intended target here. Beware !

My go to grocery store. The owner/manager is very nice and so are the cashiers. $4 bacon egg and cheese on a roll or bagel is a steal. Fruit and veggies are fresh and they will get you any product you want that they don’t carry.

I thought I would give this place a chance even though the reviews were bad. I wish I didn't. I bought noosa yogurt and it tasted absolutely horrible...I don't know what they're doing wrong, but clearly they are not keeping their food fresh.

This was a cute hispanic owned organic supermarket that had Malta Goya cold in the fridge, ready to enjoy. A great selection of Goya products for any meal you are fixing. Support this local business!

Pretty good local spot with a nice amount of choices around the board. Dairy has typical organic non-gmo options organic valley, Fage etc… The fresh produce is decently priced with a ton of options/varieties. Nice selection of dry goods with a wall of bobs red mill. Some organic poultry and beef options, not much but a decent price. They have a hot food bar and deli counter with good options at a nice price ex half chicken for 5.99. Overall pretty good store to get the necessities or fillers you need.

The service is pretty bad. It's like no one cares. One staff member literally bailed on me after I asked him a question. It's a huge store, some assistance with getting around and finding stuff would be much appreciated.

you know what? metro city market is a really great local grocery store. good size and variety of food, fresh produce, and the staff is also super friendly.
